Just watched the IGN video review and I must say that I'm now so super-hyped up for this game. He said it himself that it's the best Zelda ever.

You know since I work at Tesco, I could basically walk into the warehouse and walk out of the back door with a Wii and no-one would care or notice...

Zelda got 9 in EDGE! I'm still not sure about Red Steel. I will decide whether or not I want it when I play it round a mates house. I'm not too bothered to buy another game apart from Zelda anyway...

From the IGN reviews, it looks like wii has a pretty strong launch. Zelda: 9.5 Madden: 8.5 Super Monkey Ball: 8.4 Rayman: 8.3 Excite Truck: 8.0 Trauma Centre: 8.0 Call Of Duty: 7.7 Wii Sports: 7.5 Tony Hawk's: 7.0

I agree that scores need to be generally lowered. It makes no sense for the "average" to be around 7.0. If you go to IGN, the sheer number of 9.0+ games is overwhelming, these games are supposed to be must-buys, but I doubt anyone could afford that many. I still think IGN is one of the best reviews around, they're very consistent and give balanced reviews.

True... but what makes you think they will be consistent with their future scoring if they haven't been consistent at all up until now?

That's ridiculous. Almost everyone else thought this game was perfect and gave it a 9.5+. Gamespot are never consistent in their scoring. Tony Hawk's 3 gets a 10 and there are many scores they've given that are simply wrong. Gamespot has lost all credibility with this review.

In the end it all boils down to one's own morals/beliefs etc and whether one finds it morally acceptable or not. And no amount of arguing is going to convince someone differently. In conclusion respect people's beliefs blah blah (unless they're part of the Flat Earth Society, they're just retards).

I reckon EDGE will give it 9. If they give it 10... then you know its the best Zelda ever.

Excite truck was probably rushed for launch. It looks worth a look, even if you're only borrowing it, it looks pretty fun, even if it doesn't last.

Don't worry the games won't sell out. You don't have to pre-order from them but it saves you from going into your local game store to pick them up.

If you don't test a new drug on animals, you're basically testing the drug on humans by retailing it. I'd rather have a dead chimp than a dead person. Also animal testing leads to better animal medicine, so we're not that greedy, more animals are saved thanks to animal testing than are killed becaus of it.

Not much of an error (more of a nitpick) but the description of the "Rules" board reads: "R-E rules and regulations". Stop living in the past!

No idea yet on how online is going to work. Not with any game yet because no online games have been made yet. Expect something like the DS with a few more options, a slicker interface, and probably a lot more reliable. Also in online Brawl, I hope they give you the option to do 4-way, 2on2 (with friends) or 1on1. There's no reason why not.

So guys, does it live up to the PS1 FFs?
