  1. I attempted to sync all my contacts/music/photo's back to my new phone yesterday. It worked, to a point. Now i got all my music from my PC on my phone, something i didn't want. Got no photo's at all. But at least my contacts survived (with added numbers as well).
  2. Um, what can i say. Kinect looks like cack. The games coming to it are cack. It is basically a Wii-rip off in a periphial if you ask me. It could be so much more, instead it is going down the path i thought it was to begin with.
  3. Some scenes do look similar, just with beefed up graphics/added stuff. Don't Ninty own the code to the original, but can't release it without Activision and Rare agreeing on it (as Rare worked on the original and Activision owning the rights to Bond)
  4. Only on star 20 at the moment, not too bad considering i'm taking my time as such. Don't want to rush such a game which i waited ages for.
  5. It's going to be one of them games that i'll have to see more of in order to pursuade me/pull me into buying. It does look like, in my eyes a game that could do the original justice or make a mockery out of. Obviously, the licensing is an issue with the original game. But some of the sections do look like they are directly bought from the N64, so licensing may have been solved to some extent.
  6. Many have said that it won't catch on with the core gamers. I for one will have to agree with this. Honest, can we imagine playing games like GoW, Halo, GTA etc like this. It won't work too well if you ask me. Party/Family games this will work. And it will sell.
  7. It's been an alright day. Decided to go and get myself a new phone. Whilst i was there, i asked why i was being charged £41 a month for the N96's monthly bill. Found out £6.50 of it was for a Blackberry e-mail add-on pack. Stopped it finally. I was going to pick the X6, but it crashed 3 times in the test i had. Decided on the N97 mini, probably because i didn't want a Blackberry or a I-Phone. Now, i'm paying £25 a month, which is nice. Looking to recycle my N96, the sites offering £86 for it (on average).
  8. Went out and got a new phone today
  9. Kinect - A rejects way to play games. C'mon, you see some people (mainly kids) playing "racing" with imaginary wheels and all that. This is suited for them to a tee. The name is pretty lame to be fair, should have left it at Natal. And i remember as well the fuss made on here when Revolution was re-named "Wii". And look at how that worked out.
  10. Damn you Moogle, i had that Bonnie Tyler video in mind..... Anyways Happy Birthday dude, have a good day.
  11. Watched 3 movies this weekend Goldeneye Starring Pierce Brosnan in is first of 4 outings as 007. I fall into the category of playing the game (of same name) first before watching the movie, not on purpose though. A darn good movie to say the least, a most definite change from the serious Dalton Bond flick (and still the only one being a 15), License to Kill. Even for a 12, it is quite a blood-filled title. Probably having a similar amount to the last movie. The first of 2 (that i know of) Bond movies where the bad dude started off as a good dude. 9/10 The Wolfman Starring Benicio Del Torro, Anthony Hopkins and that dude who played Mr Smith in the Matrix movies (honestly can't remember his name). Have to admit, wasn't expecting much after reading the reviews of this. But it was a pretty decent flick, with some great CGI (especially the fur on the wolf). Wasn't as such scary, more had a few moments that may make you jump from time to time, and thats about it scare-wise. 8/10 Richie Rich Don't ask, it was on ITV 2 yesterday and i couldn't be bothered to switch the channel. Stars Macauly Culkin (that kid who starred in the 2 decent Home Alone movies and the video to MJ's "Black or White"). Basically, he is rich. Attempts to make friends with much fail, parents fly to London, a manager of the kids father thinks the kid is on-board when the plane "blows up" and presumes control. Kid is alive and takes the reigns of the company until his Dad comes home (with the aid of the butler (played by the same bloke who plays that Parish bloke in "Jumanji")). The bloke makes attempts to re-take the company, with some set-backs. Finds that the Rich parents are alive, finds out about the vault and kidnaps them. Ending gets predictable, but hey what can you expect. It's alright, not the best i've seen. It is worth watching on Sunday only mind. Which is why i give it 6/10
  12. Well i have to admit it, this is one of the better episodes of recent. It seems you may have returned to form this time. Ok, there are still the odd parts which were what i call, facepalming moments (arch-nemesis, fun with a pun (why is Dr Wu-Man's music the same tune as the pun tune?? etc etc.) But i will say this now, which is different from me to be fair. The opening was actually better than i expected it to be, same goes for the final pun. Your Nien this time around was better, not brilliant but it was a definite improvement this time around. Didn't quite get the Jonny;s sketch, but hey i can't be perfect can i??. The new scene i spotted, your "calculator". Even though i was expecting said word to crop up, it was worth a chuckle (only one mind) Overall Rez, this is an improvement over the recent Rainbows. All i can say is keep it up, and perhaps maybe, just maybe i may be able to laugh throughout.
  13. Tis a RDR thread. The stranger missions are awesome, a great break from the main missions. To be fair, so are the random people quests as well (the ones who appear as a blue dot). Just came out of a 2 1/2 hour session online with a mate of mine. I swear i was in a room full of cowards, because every time i got a couple of kills on players, they all left the room (only the ones who happend to be shot by me and my mate). It was a lot better than being kicked out i have to admit. Think in the end, as most people tended to leave the room once they got annoyed with being killed off we decided to see how long it would take to drive the whole room out, just for a laugh. Took us 30 minutes tops, was enjoyable i thought. Then we found a horse and cart and decided on a race to Escalara from Blackwater (one of us on the cart, the other had to shoot them off and take the cart, first to arrive in the cart to the destination won).
  14. Who knows to be fair. I'll probably give an attempt to finish some books i've been meaning to read, same will be said with games i've got around my room. But the main project this year will be moving house, which could be anytime to be fair. As we own 2 places, the plan for the new house is to do the garden, carpet and curtain the house, move a few things around inc oven. Then when the place is suitable we will then slowly start moving in. Unless this place sells, in which case scrap the above.
  15. Had a BBQ yesterday, was a darn good one in the end. Managed to finally get the full message across, of which somebody else understood it completly. Played some poker, didn't win overall but i did win a couple of hands (bet an "All-In" on 2 Aces). By the end of the day, started to not feel well. Had cramps (again), probably due to a chinese steak i had earlier. Couldn't get to sleep until 2am, but felt good in the morning. Decided after cash-count to mow the lawn. Went well to begin with on the smaller lawn. Then i noticed one of the wheels was loose, so i made an attempt to tighten it. Didn't work, started the larger lawn and it fell off. So i replaced it using plyers and a spanner. Then the mower ran out of petrol (did pre-checks and thought i'd have enough to last). Went to get more out of the shed, but there be none. So had to take a mile walk to the petrol station to get more, luckly some dude gave me a lift on the way which was nice of him. Finished the lawn finally, which was lucky as the rain finally came down. Had lasagna for lunch, shared with my sister. Now chilling out. May go on Galaxy 2 and Red Dead later.
  16. Would be nice, something similar to San Andrea's with each region having exclusive items to hunt down/collect.
  17. Having a BBQ tomorrow, at my house as per usual (even though i didn't particulary want one at mine, but still). Explain to me this. I told one of my mates that i'm not staying over the others place (where the BBQ was originally planned in the case of good weather, mine would be a reserve for the bad weather (as i got a car-port/shelter)). I said to him at 23 (24 potentially now) i think i'm too old to be staying round a mates (sleep-over wise as it seems to be). To be fair, i think at 23 years of age it is too old and weird to be at a mates all night, i really should be staying round the ladies places (if ya know what i mean). I don't mind going round for a BBQ and having beers all day and into the night just as long as you know i'm not staying over. Message was passed to the other mate, who interprited it from the mate i told as............ i'm not staying over because i don't like to sleep on the floor!!!. And now, they've decided off their own backs to arrange the BBQ for my place without consulting me until 7pm tonight and are staying round mine (as i got room). I attempted to correct it, but it was fobbbed off. I think i'll make it clear that no-one is staying over, but you are welcome for the BBQ tomorrow. If that won't go through, then who knows.
  18. Congrats on flying the nest, enjoy the freedom. Edit: And have a Happy Birthday dude, enjoy the day.
  19. I think my Wii-mote may be damaged, there be a crack on the B button and the pointer on-screen dissappears sometimes and takes a while to re-appear (by a while, i mean 30 seconds). Gets annoying trying to pick-up star-bits or using Yoshi.
  20. Does not compute!!!. Error 404 occurred.............Shutting down!!!!.
  21. 2 weeks, at most.
  22. Excellent, made me smile. Good find there Eenuh
  23. I did notice it was a tad trickier, near enough from the word "go". Could be as challenging as Sunshine was, in which case i'd be happy.
  24. Yeah, the online one. Didnt think i did them all though, thought i'd only done 5 (Pikes Basin, Nostalgia?, Twin Rocks, Gaptooth, Tumbleweed, that other Mexican one (that i can't remember)). Was all good fun. Was attempting a few challenges as well, mainly the one where you had to complete Pike's Basin and Twin Rocks in the same session without dying. A complete fail as well. There is DLC coming end of this month for multi-player, a co-op pack with a few co-op missions within. Free of charge as well.
