  1. A bit thick maybe, but overall I love the design. Hopefully out early next year with some great launch games.
  2. Other M at #37 in the UK chart last week
  3. With massive Halo: Reach and Move hype Wii will probably be last of the three in September.
  4. Yes, that would be overkill. I expect Donkey Kong Country to be the big Xmas November release, while Kirby is out in February/March.
  5. 3rd September : peace:
  6. Excite Truck Sure, it should have been at least a four-player game, if not online, but wow, in terms of pure fun factor it's one of the best games this generation.
  7. Good its #1, but 83k first week is a little bit below my expectations. An exclusive JRPG with such high Famitsu score should do at least 500k lifetime in Japan alone.
  8. I'm expecting graphics on par with 360 and PS3.
  9. As great as the conference was I'm still disappointed with upcomming third party Wii support. Goldeneye is the only interesting new title announced and even that feels a bit soulless and uninspiring.
  10. The colours sort of remind of Majora's Mask actually.
  11. I think Nintendo made it pretty hard for themselves showing us live gameplay so early, especially with the ambitious control system. They could just have done a video showing us the best parts. Miyamoto has said that this time they are developing the gameplay first, then focusing on the presentation, which makes me believe it will look more detailed and polished by release.
  12. With August release in US the game must be practically finished by now. I expect at least two different levels playable on the show floor.
  13. Not showing anything? 3DS alone will proably take 45+ minutes.
  14. What is realistic: - Zelda trailer/demonstration with an ambigous "Winter" release date - Metroid: Other M playable on the show floor - Wii Party playable - Vitality Sensor with game(s) - US version of Xenoblade, release date announced - Another 2D platformer after NSMB's success, probably Kirby Wii - Pikmin 3 short demonstration, out next year - 2 Nintendo-made WiiWare titles shown
  15. - Wii Relax/Wii Pulse - A new action IP from Retro with online multiplayer - Pilotwings Wii - Pikmin 3 - Kirby Wii, the big 2011 platformer? - F-Zero Wii or Waverace Wii, Wii needs another racer besides MK - Starfox 64 follow-up
  16. "Activision is working on a James Bond: GoldenEye title for Wii and DS that should be released this November. The new title may be a remake of the classic Nintendo 64 first-person shooter, originally developed by Rare, and according to our source the publisher intends to unveil it at E3. Development duties have been split between UK-based Eurocom and US-based n-Space." Eurogamer Great franchise, mediocre developers...
  17. Not surprised at all. Nintendo have released a super-mainstream family game every year: 2006 - Wii Sports 2007 - Mario Party 8 2008 - Mario Kart Wii 2009 - Wii Sports Resort Looks like this started out as Mario Party 9.
  18. Edge review: http://www.edge-online.com/magazine/review-super-mario-galaxy-2 I think you can guess the score
  19. “It seems that the source of Nintendo Magazine is an interview with Jason misinterpreted by half the web. In short, nothing very serious, and yet, unfortunately, nothing guarantees that there will be a Red Steel 3.†– Ubisoft France statement
  20. Physical (12): Boom Blox Bash Party - 7/10 Metroid Prime 3 - 8/10 Little King's Story - 7/10 New Super Mario Bros. Wii - 8/10 Punch-Out!! - 8/10 Super Mario Galaxy - 9/10 Super Smash Bros. Brawl - 9/10 Tatsunoko vs. Capcom - 7/10 Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 - 8/10 Wii Sports - 5/10 Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure - 7/10 Zelda: Twilight Princess - 9/10 WiiWare (4): Bomberman Blast - 7/10 LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias - 7/10 Maboshi's Arcade - 7/10 World of Goo - 9/10
  21. It is. Tri as in trilogy and triple for instance. Tri = Three in Czech, Slovak, Welsh, Bulgarian and some other languages. Pronounced about the same as the English word. In most European languages the letter/vocal "i" is pronounced as "ee", not "ay" as is common in English. EDIT: Some pronounce "Ico" as ay-co, while it really is ee-co, which mean "let's go" in Japanese.
  22. Wow, best IGN score for a Wii game since Smash Brawl.
  23. With a 70 million userbase the numbers are pretty awful. Less than 1 out of 1000 Wii owners bought it first week...
  24. I don't know about "high-profile", but: Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands - May (multi) Transformers: War for Cybertron - May (multi) Trackmania Wii - May (port, console exclusive) Tiger Woods 11 - June (multi) NBA Jam - Autumn (exclusive) Ghost Recon: Future Soldier - Autumn (multi) The Conduit 2 - Autumn (exclusive) The Grinder - 2011 (semi-exclusive) Still way to little for the leading console this generation...
  25. Wii Relax playable Zelda Wii trailer Pikmin 3 trailer or at least officially announced MS will have two conferences, one on the 13th focusing on Natal and a normal Xbox 360 conference on the 14th.
