  1. Honestly, I can't tell any difference between the Wii version and the PS3/X360 version. Actually the grass looks better on Wii... Wii Video - gametrailers.com X360/PS3 Video - gametrailers.com
  2. Wow, mainstream app of the year delayed... This will seriously hurt sales of PS3 and 360. MS have at least Halo 3 while PS3 don't seem to have a killer app this year. This will surely improve Wii sales instead...
  3. Looks like I have to buy a PS3 or 360... So far no next-gen game has been announced for both PS3, 360 and Wii. Looks like Wii only get low-budget exclusives or PS2/PSP-ports
  4. Sega is crazy for not doing a port of VT3. It runs easy at 1080p on PS3/X360, so I guess they could do a non-HD version on Wii without degrading the graphics.
  5. There's really no excuse in todays globalized world. Almost all other companies release their games simultaneous in US and Europe. btw, Mario Party 8 has yet to be released in Japan.
  6. Probably another Zelda in the end of the Wii's lifetime. My guess is 2010.
  7. Looks good. Finally a Wii game that looks better than a GC game. Is it playable at E3?
  8. My guesstimates: october: Metroid Prime 3 november: Pokemon Battle Revolution, Battalion Wars II march 2008: Super Mario Galaxy may 2008: Smash Bros. Brawl
  9. Metroid Prime 3 and Battalion Wars II in Q4? Mario Galaxy in 2008?
  10. 14th September. Trauma Center out 10th August.
  11. Norwegian newspapers states today that its coming to Norway. In one national paper it covers the entire front page ("Forbidden violent game coming to Norway"). There was an interview with a Nintendo distributor Bergsala rep saying they havent heard anything from Nintendo internationally, so it will probably go on sale as it got 18+ from PEGI. They also interviewed Medietilsynet, the Norwegian version of BBFC (although they follow PEGI ratings when it comes to games), who say they do not believe in a ban. Barnevakten, a children interest group, refuses to comment on the game fearing more attention will increase sales EDIT: Oh, btw, Monty Python movie "Life of Brian" was banned for a year here in the 80's because of blasphemy...
  12. Here's what I was talking about. Guess this prooves that Manhunt 2 will never be on Wii (at least not in its current form): "*Please note that Nintendo does not sell or license games that carry the ESRB rating "AO" (Adults Only)." http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/buyers_guide.jsp
  13. Doesn't Nintendo have a policy of not allowing AO rated games on their systems? It will be interesting if NOA allows it to released for the Wii in its current state.
  14. Which effectively bans it from most game stores. No big chains carries AO rated games. I seriously doubt the game will be released in early July. They will probably try to change some parts of the game.
  15. The reviews are fair. The graphics are surely dated (we're talking about a 2-3 year old GC game here) and by the sound of it the controls are a bit more complicated than the GC version. But I would definetly pick it up if I havent played the GC/PS2 version.
  16. Notice that Play.com is showing the wrong the rating: " Technical Details Rating 18+ (BBFC)" I guess this means they're following BBFC guidelines...
  17. Certainly banned in Germany and Australia then. Rockstar wont bother with a PAL release I guess...
  18. June/july is looking good. Mario Party 8, Trauma Center, RE4 Wii, Big Brain Academy, Pokemon Diamond, Manhunt 2. A lot better than expected for this time of the year.
  19. Looks like Trauma Center and Big Brain Academy gets the july spot. My bet is on late August.
  20. Really? Gamespot - 6.5 IGN - 5.2 1up - 5.5
  21. Just got my japanese PSP. Can I replace the japanese cable (the end that plugs in to the socket) with for instance my euro PS2 cable?
  22. Full Reggie speech on IGN:http://wii.ign.com/articles/790/790916p1.html He confirms Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros. Brawl and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass are all coming this year. In US at least... I guess we have to wait till early 2008 for Smash Bros. But definetly the best fall line-up from Nintendo ever: US: Metroid Prime 3 + Mario Galaxy + Zelda DS + Smash Bros EU: Super Paper Mario + Metroid Prime 3 + Mario Galaxy + Zelda DS
  23. Babelfish translation: "All the information will begin to flow by the end of the week so mark your calendars and return to http://www.Atomix.vg the next Friday to find out everything that was shown in the event".
  24. The main reason for this event is probably Metroid Prime 3. If they waited till E3, MP3 previews in print mags wouldnt be published until the issue out in August. Way to late for a game being released 20th August. They also need som Internet hype for a huge game with less than 3 months till its release. But I doubt the Smash Bros. relaunch and this eventon the same day is purely coincidental...
  25. but someone has broken it: http://blog.wired.com/games/2007/05/nintendo_media_.html edit: nah, nothing new here.
