  1. I doubt that Nintendo would remove any current characters, especially our Fire Emblem boys, they're so damn popular with many people. Oh yes, the topic question. Well, I can play well with every character (it really pisses people off when I destroy them with Pichu for some reson ) but I'd have to say that my favourite character to use would be Kirby. Whenever I'm about to go down, I always try to take someone with me, usually someone with low damage. Ah yes, the kirby suicide maneuver is most useful . I also commonly use Mario, Young Link, Roy and Pikachu.
  2. That Loco Roco looks great. Makes me want to buy a PSP all the more.
  3. If you enjoyed Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, you should try to find its predecessor, Paper Mario. Also get Mario Tennis. Enjoyment will be yours .
  4. Sorry, couldn't resist that . Plus played around with his gender.
  5. There's plenty left (Donkey Konga 2 Packs seem to be going fast though). http://www.nintendo-europe.com/NOE/en/GB/stars/stars_list.jsp;jsessionid=PQFVMWFWU3WFWCRNN2GSFEQ?_requestid=52046
  6. A new Punch Out game! I think how you'd use the controller is self explanatory for this game. Another Wario's Woods would also be nice...
  7. Have just fully completed Fire Emblem 7 . Now I eagerly await the two upcoming Fire Emblems even more.
  8. As well as a decent launch line-up, I would also appreciate one or two bundle packs, for example: The Super Smash Bros Bundle Contains the following: 1x Revolution 1x Controller 1x Super Smash Bros. (N64) (could be already downloaded onto Revolution, or perhaps a code you have to input that gives you it for free.) 1x Super Smash Bros. Melee (GCN) 1x Super Smash Bros. Revo
  9. Ahoy Me Hearties, Cap'n Sprout of the Veggie Pirates speakin', Yaaaaaaaaaaaar! It be a surprise for me to see that I had meself a crew waiting for me when I arrived on board the SS. Kick Ass (actually it was school, a land lubber such as meself can dream though, yaar!). It brings a tear to me only eye! Anywho, I had meself a fine crew indeed. And they had a fine leader . Dinner be a grand one! Rum and fine pirate cuisine as far as the eye can see (actually we had chippy and soft drinks ). We stuffed ourselves full! Then I spyed me some booty! I went over to the beauties and gave 'em one of me chat up lines... SLAP! Apparently, they've never heard of TLAP day... Avast, theres always next year, yaaar! Now I be back at home, after a good days piratin' and treasure huntin'! Can't wait for next year. Yaaaaaaaaaaaar!
  10. Pokemon was released in Japan in 1996. It was released here in 1998. I never went on that Poke tour either, but I can get Mew on Red/Blue anyway. Thank you Mew Glitch .
  11. You put that in the "things that aren't excellent" thread.
  12. I just had a Sunday roast, featuring lumpy mashed potatoes and lumpy gravy. That certainly isn't excellent.
  13. 8/10 Very nice indeed, the lack of colour suits it. Nice angel too.
  14. "When Old Man Jenkins refused to give up his stolen false teeth, the police had to use force."
  15. VIEWTIFUL JOE: RED HOT RUMBLE Our faces were red-hot with anger and sadness after playing it. The joypad feels useless in our hands. We're pressing the buttons. Something should happen. Yes, we're moving about but where are the attacks? We grip the pad tighter and scream at the characters to do ANYTHING. Even after playing [Red Hot Rumble[/i] for some time, we're still not sure what was going on. It is the most confusing thing we've ever played on the 'Cube. Not because it's got a twisting plot, strange gameplay mechanics or crazy characters. It's because there was so much hapening at once. The game throws everything at you like a blender without the lid on. We were thinking it would be a Viewtiful Joe version of Super Smash Bros. Melee and in some ways it is. After all, there are four characters on screen and they're all pounding the crap out of eachother. But then, on top of trying to beat up your opponents, you've also got to perform certain missions. Like beating up a boss, entering an open door or collecting gems. This would be hard enough without everyone trying to punch you. But then, as if all this wasn't enough, the game throws another confusing element at you. Along with all the missions and face kicking, all the characters can perform the signature special moves from the normal Viewtiful Joe games. So all of a sudden, one character, normally not us, would slow things down or speed them up, to create even more panic. Madness. When you've got four players, this kind of thing is happening all the time, rendering tactics almost imposible. Okay, so we only played a demo of the game but we were hoping for something a lot better than this. We expected a cool four-player fighting game but what we actually got was a confusing mess that made no sense. Perhaps the demo was just trying to show everything off at once, instead of just demonstrating the fighting. We hope things will improve drastically in the finished version. Rob Burman
  16. I wouldn't worry too much about it, this game isn't going to be released for quite a while, so they should have time to get rid of any possible problems with the game. If you want, I could post the preview here.
  17. Ah don't be so down. These lines never seem to get me any booty. Maybe this year though.... Also, does anyone know how to change the title of the thread? I can't seem to do it.

  20. I found the article a bit rubbish to be honest. Its mainly them saying how crap all of the manga games are (minus the Naruto games and Jump! Superstars). Just wait, next month Nintendo have the 'ultimate' free gift next month .
  21. Oh I beg to differ, Let me show you some of my Pirate chat up lines! Avast, me proud beauty! Wanna know why my Roger is so Jolly? Yes, that is a hornpipe in my pocket and I am happy to see you. I'd love to drop anchor in your lagoon. They don’t call me Long John because my head is so big. Pardon me, but would ya mind if fired me cannon through your porthole? Yaaaar, and not a single one of them worked. I wonder why .
  22. Chances are that we may see Fire Emblem 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 as downloadable games on the Revolution, so I wouldn't try getting Fire Emblem 3 just yet, since Japanese is the only language you can play it in right now. Fire Emblem 6 however, is a GBA game, so you most likely won't be able to see it as a downloadable game for Revolution. Roy seems to be stuck in Japan only for now (minus his brief mention in Fire Emblem 7) Apparently, Fire Emblem 4 (Genealogy of the Holy War) is the best game of the series, plus the most imported. But I'm sure you'll find them all to be thoroughly enjoyable . I'm not too sure about this, but the star of Fire Emblem 9 (Path of Radience) is called Ike. Yes, yes I do . EDIT: Thanks for stickying the thread.
  23. Marth stars in Fire Emblem 1 and 3, while Roy stars in Fire Emblem 6 (plus gets a brief mention in Fire mblem 7). The two characters are from different worlds, so they have never met eachother. The Fire Emblem story can be confusing, because, like the Final Fantasy series sometimes they take the series to different worlds. I'll try to explain the best I can. Fire Emblem 1 and 3 take place in Akanea and Fire Emblem 2 takes place in Valencia Fire Emblem 1 (The Dark Dragon and the Sword of Light) is the first in the series. It stars Marth. Fire Emblem 2 (Side-Story) is a side story to Fire Emblem 1. It stars Alm and Celica. This game is also considered to be the Zelda II of the family. Fire Emblem 3 (Mystery of the Emblem) not only contains the sequal to Fire Emblem 1, but has a remade Fire Emblem 1 too. Marth stars as the main character for this one. Fire Emblem 4 and 5 takes place in the continent of Jugdral Fire Emblem 4 (Genealogy of the Holy War) is the first in this new world. It stars Sigurd and Selis. Fire Emblem 5 (Thracia 776) takes place inbetween chapters five and six of Fire Emblem 4. It also overlaps a bit with chapter 7 and ends where Chapter 8 of Fire Emblem 4 begins. It stars Leaf Fire Emblem 6 and 7 takes place in the continent of Elibe, which is in no way related to the worlds in any of the previous Fire Emblems. Fire Emblem 6 (Sword of Seals) is the first in this new world. It stars Roy. Fire Emblem 7 (Blazing Sword) is the prequel to Fire Emblem 6. It stars Lyn, Eliwood (father of Roy) and Hector. Fire Emblem 8 takes place in the continent of Magvel Fire Emblem 8 (Sacred Stones) is the first in this new world. It stars Eirika and Ephraim. Fire Emblem GC (Path of Radiance) takes place in the land of Tellius. Hope that helps a bit.
