  1. Noo keep the official thread as the spoiler free one, afterall it is legendary, its been around for AGES. If anything make a seperate thread for spoilers.
  2. Woah! Even more impressive than Ubi. BUT that could include Virtual Console games... Here are all the confirmed games so far: Digimon Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 Ennichi no Tatsujin Final Furlong SD Gundam G Breaker Namco Bandai Action game [untitled] Namco New RPG [untitled] Namco Wii Project [untitled] Pac-Man Carnival Sword of Legendia Tamagotchi’s Sparkling President Xevious (Virtual Console)
  3. From what i've played so far, and knowing you love the cube RPGs, definately YES. If anything it looks like the price is going to rise (aka Skies). On Gameplay for example its gone up from £29.99 to £32.99
  4. lol well yes, i've done it now anyway (comepleted it two weeks ago). Now that you mention it though I don't know why i didn't at the time, as I did for the other bosses after.
  5. Zelda Retrospective Part 5 up at Gametrailers I'm avoiding all screens and footage now so this is what i'm using for hype
  6. lol i'm starting to worry it could be like last year with Xbox 360. I was getting it for Christmas and i'd preordered at Gameplay but quite late, so I wasn't going to get it from them till the new year. Then between launch -> Xmas I was trying so hard to get one, rang up practically every retailer in Norwich, and not only once. Everyone was saying that I wouldn't be able to get one until the new year and stuff, but eventually, on December 22nd (awesome timing!) Virgin were saying they were getting 1 in and they'd keep it for me, and after a few problems and stuff I ended up going in and managing to get it. It's a pretty exciting experience to look back on now, but if i hadn't been successfull it wouldn't have been pleasant, so if the same happens for me with Wii because my Gameplay preorder was just too late then...jeez. I actually want it on launch day though, heck i need a word stronger than 'want'. PLEASE GAMEPLAY don't let me down!
  7. Yeah me too. I also must say the boxart is possibly my favourite for any GC game!
  8. Either that or he's pretending he is. Neither of which is anything to be proud of anyway. Oh and happy birthday!
  9. I'm not denying there are tons of fantastic games on the PS2 and I know I'd love quite a few very much but I am happy as I am, and don't feel I need to splash out the money on it.

    books

Currently reading: King of the Murgos [The Mallorean - David Eddings] The God Delusion [Richard Dawkins] When it comes to fictional I just LOVE fantasy, and The Belgariad/The Mallorean by David Eddings is incredible. As the area of philosophy interests me greatly I sometimes read philosophical books too, well to be honest The God Delusion is my first.
  11. I don't think there's any need to take it to seriously really, afterall its not like there's a prize for it. Just a bit of fun predicting that makes you think about the weekend's games and anticipate them.
  12. Starry Heavens is a brilliant song
  13. I really hope Nintendo make some alternative ways for us to get Wii Points. It would be excellent if they set up online tournaments and you got them as a reward for winning and stuff.
  14. More sales = More great games Well usuallly, higher probability anyway.
  15. Mine was around 4pm. I think we'll be okay though.
  16. I think it's a pretty decent trailer, and as The Bard said will be great in cinemas. I love the bit at the end going toward the Wii logo
  17. Good idea for predictions each week Fiercey! Saturday Man City 1-1 Newcastle Chelsea 2-0 Watford Everton 2-1 Aston Villa Middlesbro 0-2 West Ham Portsmouth 1-0 Fulham Sheff Utd 0-0 Bolton Wigan 0-0 Charlton Blackburn 1-3 Man Utd Sunday Reading 0-1 Tottenham Arsenal 3-2 Liverpool [Got a feeling its gonna be a cracker]
  18. Began playing earlier! The opening cutscenes are beautiful  some of the best i've ever seen. The overall presentation is superb, and is one of the first things I really love about it. It really is like Advance Wars but with swords, and there's no way I am complaining! Not only that but the characters are really likeable and everything. Mmm I can't think of one bad thing to say about it so far, ver very very positive first impressions. I must admit, it felt damn great to get a new GC game, I think the last one I purchased was Baten Kaitos when it came out in Europe way back in May last year. There's this special feeling that I can't explain about getting a new Nintendo game that I just don't get with other games. Anyone know what I mean?
  19. HMV.co.uk It's £39.99 there but I used the 15% off code the other day
  20. Borat I expected it to be hilarious and it didn't fail. Unforgettable, one of a kind, and hard to rate really. Lets just say it delivered when it comes to entertainment.
  21. Just been and seen it. The fight scene automatically makes the film a classic, I haven't laughed that much at the cinema in ages!
  22. Later than expected but at least we have a date, and i don't mind waiting at all.
  23. Yeah, one of the things that makes it so special is the fact that it is the total opposite to what the game is really like in that sense.
