Im Still awaiting my instruments from parcel force dam fools, Got the game earlier today (around 12ish) dam postman is lazy or just really slow, Tis starting to get on my nerves a bit having to wait even though the parcel force website states it's been out for delivery from midnight, Im just to dam impatient.

Refering back to [Girl's Name] wanting to run old dos games on the mac, i found that Dosbox works on the mac and i've been able to run my old dos games with no problems at all, worth checking out , it's quite hard to set up unless ya have used it before but there are GUI's that have been released that can help, but i've been able to run all my DOS games flawlessly. but other than that sadly windows is the only opition, sucks hope this help if not , Ignore http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/

Right this is really anoying not just for me but my friend, I've been a owner of a mac book (512 ram is to low for a mac or ever a computer) i've had it for about 4 months now, so resently my friend decided to buy a mac, infact a mac book pro top spec the 1899.99 model. He has been thining of buying this laptop for AGES, being a student moeney don't come easy, so we went for the student discount of the apple site which nocks it down about 150 quid not to shabby. We dicided to pick up the laptop at are local Apple store (Farpoint) but for some reason they whould only give us 5% off the price which is about 45 so quid (im terrible at maths) now my question is did we have the only stupid sales person in the apple shop or can we get more off? my friend is really anoyed about this whole day but if anyone has any information to help be great thanks god i do go on, sorry

My arms are mainly killing me thats it really, but deffo pain, but thats what ya get for playing wii for 17 hours lol, taking time to human things of course, i think boxing and baseball took it out of me, although zelda and red steel did help , anywho back to wii!

Ohhh, i like this idea, hopfully ya will be able to use ya points for ala trading for VC games, finally i can spend my 11,000 points of somthing, every time nintendo offer somting decent i miss it, now at least i could get mario or what not, lets hope, only a few days left.....the.....wait...is......to...looong!

Friday is just to far away, well.... uhh, yer i was gona trade in my lovely cube, but i just could not, and anyway £20 is not really worth it, im rather anoyed about GAME orders but i spose my fault for GAME, ah well just need to get cash , so what do i need to do for fifty smackers, takin alllll bets!

God i could not stand running my cube on standard cables, the colours bled like hell, anoyed me so much, so i cash in ages ago for a rgb cable, my god, it was amazing, even not 8 months later i love it, im gona have to pick up the rgb cables so important, plug don't have the cash to swag around for a HDTV if only, *sigh* 24 days guys! (well 23 in 40 so mins heh) and yes that packaging is just buififull!

My worries have put to rest as my GAME store (Bath) said to me that all thier pre-orders will be full-filled which shocked me, he better not be lieing or it's time for a revolt! , it's all a panic atm my friend who orderd off play.com just got the email saying he won't get one so anoying!

Right, im slighty worried atm , today i got my pre-order confirmation from game today, (i was number 34 on the list btw) my brother orderd before me and before they did the pre-orders but we put it on my game card, and i put my wii pre-order on mine again, so infact i have two pre-orders on one game card, what im worried is that my bro won't be able to get a wii or somthing has gotten mixed up, you guys got any ideas what might of happned or am i just being paranoid , hopfully going down to game tommrrow to find more info.

Yer i've refunded £153.18, and i just looked at my records, i payed that much which is good, although that did'nt include delivary but hey, i've been looking all day for a graphics card, was thinking of getting a better one or somthing, thing is as i'm only running on agp x8 and all i can find of my card is pci-e i was thinking of saving up for a new mobo thats a socket 939 and does pci-e and just get a new pci-e card although that will just costs to much, but atm im still looking at cards and keeping an eye on ebuyer to see if they will restock my card, also whats wierd the makers of my card (Powercolor) site has gone down, well it ask for a password, very wierd, like the x850xt is all faulty or somthing, anyway thanks guys again

yer it's under warranty not had it very long at all, yer i was given a RMA and every thing tis very strange, struggling to find a new one, seen a sapphire one but i don't trust them that much

Sorry to bring this thred back up, but i just got a email from ebuyer, and they got my faulty card but they don't have any left to replace it, bit anoying, i've been looking at overclockers.co.uk / dabs / micodirect for the card and im having any luck, any you guys know where i can get a x850xt agp , has to be agp don't have fancy new stuff, thanks guys

Thanks man yer i just got an email from ebuyer, and they have asked me to send it back going to do that tommrrow, hopfully that won't take to long, just got my old 9600xt pluged in now working fine ,thanks for the responce

Hey guys my first thread here so be gentle About 2 months ago i upgraded from a 9600xt to a x850xt which i was very happy to buy (oblivion baby) basicly at the start no problems at all ran games fine, the temp was fine (and still is) but after a few week randomly games whould start to show these random green horizontal lines on the screen, after i closed the game they would go, I didnt really think of this problem much as i though it was a random glitch, i continued to play my games and no problem, then every so often it would happen, but sometimes no problem at all even after 6 hours of oblivion no problem at all, and even though half life 2 ep1 no problem at all, But 2 days ago i was playing oblivion and ever 5 mins it constantly got artifacts even tho the card was running under 50c and somtimes slighty higher, the highest i've seen it at is 62c and even then no problem, i took into note the current heat but it was happening randomly, But then the final blow happned today, i now have these lines on my desktop i have noway of getting rid of them and it's really getting on my neves, i've tried to restart and left it for a few hours to let it kool, but it looks like it's just lost it, and even now the temp is at 31c i was just wondering if you guys knew what to do or what the problem is, i know quite a bit about graphics / hardware i tink it might just be faulty, I just emailed ebuyer (where i bought it) for a replacement take a while tho i hope i can get a replacement and i hope it's just a graphics problem, also i never had this problem with my 9600xt and i played the same games and that had a shitty fan on it, this had a monster fan that takes two slots, I even turned the fan to a higher speed to make is coooler and that fixed the problem for a little bit but not now, anyway i just wondering if you guys know if you have had this problem before or know how to fix it etc, Thanks guys and sorry for the big rant / specch, also i've attached some screen shots of my desktop and oblivion playing up (can't post links as post limit) Thank guys

hey if you get the perfect dark music anychance you can take a picture of it or even the track listings, i really wanted to see what it was i'd pay money for it, even though i have none, but if anyone has got any pics of anything they were giving away be kool cause i missed everything, wished they would give a more heads up

ahhh im so anoyed i've been saving up stars since gamecubes release and now i have just over 9000 stars! every dam time they update it everything goes, theres just caps left now i wanted perfect dark music! ahhhhh i wish you could just redeem these or they add more that 5 or what not to the catalog or even give ya a heads up, it's just anoying, everyone who got somthing i envy you lol dam next time they update it god knows how many stars i will have! yer i hope they allow ya to trade them in for classic wii games be amazing! anyway theres my rant

Only way you could do this would be to get a PCI IDE card (im guessing here that the harddrives are IDE) i've seen these on ebay and i think some are on ebuyer, but they will basicly allow you to plug extra harddrives into your computer

I've orderd off overclockers many times, very good although they do insist in only delivering only by City Link which can be anoying but does get dispatched with in a day which is very good, orderd my current pc off they, well most of the parts, good luck on the find anyways

When i first saw these, i was not shocked cause this is exactly what nintendo said it would be, and looking at zelda and even resident evil 4 im happy with those graphicly, this is about 2 times more powerfull, which is fine, i rather have desent specs and a low price, unlike other consoles of this gen, got to take into mind that these could not be, A. Yer resently i bought meself the official gamecube RGB cable, and on my reaseach i found that pal gamecubes don't output to s-video or even to my knowledge 480p or what not, using the digital out port (if you have a original cube as newest models don't have the digital) it's nice and confusing, i was also worried about not being able to plug in my speakers via the official RGB cable but i read also that the 3rd party ones do not compare to the official (something to do full 60hz mode or somthing) what i did in the end was to use my headphone socket on the front of my tv and plug my speakers via that (my speakers are pluged into a mixer and i pluged a third input via a jack lol works but thought i say that might help ya) good luck

Yer i just bought meself the Offical RGB cable that sadly don't come with AV cables, and as Miharu said you can use AV plugs on your TV, although on my tv it does not work on scart or what not just seems to play the Ariel Signal all the time, so in the end i did a "bodge job" by getting it so i can plug my speakers into my headphone socket in my TV , works fine although if you have proper sounds system you probs need to find a audio cable to Jack converter or somthing, im using a mixer to plug my speakers in and using it's third output to plug in a jack into my TV, uhh hope thats helps a bit.
