Both of my sisters like her. Quite a few regulars at the Community Centre Smash-ups do as well. She's quite popular, what with her personality providing a nice alternative to Peach. Personally, I'm indifferent. She's a lot more bearable than she was in Double Dash, though. No matter how much you might hate a character, they always have fans.

I've now started whacking away at the new High Rank Single Player quests. Because while I like my armour setup for it's skills, I hate it's looks. I have to stand out more and be a proper fashion hunter! Oh, and I guess I should stop Valstrax or whatever... Had a funny fight against Yian Kut-Ku. I activated Chaos Oil and spent the rest of the fight just keeping it stunlocked with constant staggers. Almost felt cruel really.

Spoiler alert @Jonnas GBC Shantae is my least favourite of the series, I still think it's good though. It definitely gets better from there. Pirate's Curse is especially fun and a nice shake up to boot.

A couple more moments from some randoms I played with.

Purely anecdotal, but I can find quite a few people pretty quick. My guess would be that the majority of the audience transferred their 3DS data over and played from there. I'm just guessing, but I'd expect you couldn't see hubs that take part in the Hunter's Pub before HR 8. That might be why it felt a tad empty.

You know what? Go on then. Predict the Animal Crossing season and win two points. Even if you can't take part this week, go ahead and give it a whack. Have at it. I predict Autumn. I believe in the theme.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is a really great online co-op game. It's also incredibly ripe for some choice moments to utilise the Switch Capture Support. This naturally has the side effect of making more crappy internet devices struggle to open the thread for actual discussion. So to help those people not throw their phone/laptop/etch-a-sketch against the wall, this thread is for all the special memories you want to share with your fellow hunters.So I'll get the ball rolling with some stuff with @RedShell and @Dcubed I got last night.

You say that like it would bother me? I mean, I'm using my turns to do HR 6 quests, no-one minds. You know the first rule of N-E Hunt Club, lower ranks take priority. I'm happy to help with any quests you need to do. Whether it's material grinding or Key quests, just give me a shout. (Plus it means you have to wait less because I can skip my turn.)

So after 2 days, I've gotten back into the swing of things, and I just want to give a few thoughts on the little changes I like compared to the 3DS one. Oh my daze, the new SnS Hunter Art, "Chaos Oil" is flat-out ridiculous. It applies a weaker version of all 4 oil items for free! For 2 minutes, I get 15% extra affinity, Stun and exhaust effects on all my attacks, Partbreaker effect and Mind's Eye! And that's only Level 1! It can even stack with the normal oil items! Apparently, at level 3, it lasts for 2 and a half minutes and applies full effect oils. Melding's back, woo! Now I have a use for all those Talismans I don't need. Here's hoping I can get a Talisman that's even better than my Wide-Range +11... I like that you can change the music of the Hunter's Pub, very neat. I noticed @RedShell managed to change his customised shout-outs very quickly one time yesterday. I did some digging around in the menus and it turns out you can have 3 sets of shout-outs. So that's 90 stupid things you can say quickly now. I need to think of some new ones... I think I've figured out where I can get Transmog... But I probably need to carry on with Single Player. I'll do that when I don't have access to online. You can't actually say "Bugger" any more, even if you put a symbol in front of it. Luckily, they didn't take into account the shoutout I carried over from my 3DS file. (ARGH! ~Bugger it all) So as long as I don't edit it, I can still use it. I'm very special now. So yep, I'm loving this. I'm up for more tonight, if anyone wants to do stuff.

Heads up @viceview51 your score after the calculation for GP3 will be 20. That doesn't include the random task points. Your current average is 31.9, so do you want to keep it? If you don't, I'll move your random task points to a different GP, so you'll still get them.

Honestly, with that title, I was expecting something absolutely disastrous to happen on the last lap. Little disappointed that it was just a gazumping. 2nd in Baby Park is pretty good, all things considered.

There's a place near Whispermill that's level 58. You don't really need to be 99 though 70+ should be enough. Spam max boost Bewildering Grace for that shot at a 100 multiplier.
