I don't agree for that. There's no tension to catching a Pokemon anymore. There's no risk of trying to weaken a Pokemon with the knowledge that a miscalculation could scupper your chances. Catching Pokémon has no impact anymore. You just catch and it's really no big deal.

I think even if you box the Pikachu/Eevee, it still sticks around with you for cutscenes and the like.

Games with microtransactions just completely turn me off. Haven't found one that doesn't sap the fun in some way eventually.

It was a great night. I'll get those Hellblades next time. Still, I think we all learnt some things last night, such as How to both succeed and fail at mounting at the same time. Dino Chav is the ultimate weapon, Synchronization makes everything better, The true meaning of a stunning victory and Zinogres can be right jerks!

I'm not gonna sit there and watch @Ugh first aid play it if I can as well. I'm not gonna sit there doing nothing and being Mr. No Fun. Make no mistake, I'm not buying it myself. FireRed/LeafGreen is a better game.

@Ugh first aid and I were playing this. All the trainer levels are a lot lower than Pokémon Yellow, a lot of them have less Pokémon as well. They definitely lowered the difficulty of the game. There's no way to turn off having every Pokémon get experience all the time. Co-op helps to redeem the game. Don't get me wrong, it trivialises the game even further. You blatantly cheat your way through the Pokémon League by using 2 Pokémon against 1. But there's something more interesting about just running around with someone else. It was entertaining. Insultingly easy, but we made our own fun. Now she has an Ivysaur following her while I have a newly caught Charmander following me. Soundtrack's nice.

Gen 5 has no evolutions of old Pokémon at all. All 150+ were completely new at the time.

Duuuuude. Why not help me with my first deviant? I think I'm on Level 13 Hellblade Glavenus (Because I really want the armour, it's got sweet skills) and I'll be wanting to do the EX one because that armour doesn't look nearly funny enough. I'd also be up for Fatalis as well. I need some stuff from the normal version to max out my Wellness armour that I used when we did that Dreadqueen quest last week.
