Funny that you mentioned Castlevania, it garnered quite a few nominations but got absolutely no votes when it came down to the wire. It seems that while people would happily class it as a top tier game. No-one here would state it as one of their favourite games. In contrast, Castlevania 3 got one 2nd place vote. That was probably the most surprising thing from the NES votes. Anyway, I know @S.C.G said it before. But I want to thank you all for helping me get this top ten list together. The comments I got were very nice to read and while there was no way I could put every comment on the article, I hope no-one felt particularly left out.

Been a while since I updated my 9.9's. 4 successes out of 14 attempts. Not so hot, but broke my highest score twice, first with Mega Man and then a glorious 2 million with Ryu! I doubt I'll top that. Funniest thing is, I'm rubbish at Street Fighter. Down to the last row now. 12 characters left to attempt.

I'm not available at Sunday Night, but I can play from 5pm until 7 if you're able to then. @Vileplume2000, a bunch of us have derogatory Monster Hunter nicknames for each other really. There's Crazy Towel Lady, N-Europe Mascot, The Cheapskate, Dino Chav and Guy who brought actual proper Armour.

Nominations are now closed. Before I post the shortlist, I should point out that only 10 games got 2 or more nominations. Naturally, we can't have only 10 games and there's not much point in nominations if we end up putting every game on there. I planned for such an occasion, I got together with @Dcubed to decide on 5 games that only got 1 nomination that we decided should get through. Seeing as both of us did not nominate any of the games that got 1, we can be as impartial as possible. So, with that, it's time for the final votes. Voting must be done via Private Messages sent to me. This will help to prevent any possible tactical voting. Everyone must choose 3 games to vote for. They also must be ordered from favourite to third favourite. It'd be great if you could explain why you chose a game in the PM. I can then use these in the article that will go up on the N-Europe front page. I reserve the right to both use and not use someone's reasons why they chose a game. I will abstain from these votes and act as a tiebreaker. If two games tie, I'll decide which game comes out on top. Voting closes on the 13th of April. Remember to keep what games you voted for secret.
