Is this online only? Because if so. I'll have to ask @Dcubed to try and get a copy of Fire Emblem Echoes. That game is too good to not buy for that price!

Not only does Rhyperior have insane Defense, it also has an ability called Solid Rock that lowers the damage it takes from Super Effective moves. So that Fighting move might have only been doing 50% extra damage instead of double the damage. Although I can't be certain it would have that ability. Lightning Rod is also a fine ability for Rhyperior in double battles. Combine that with the fact that Dynamax temporarily doubles HP and you've got a veritable brick wall. The obvious strategy would be to use Special Water or Grass moves, but you have to be careful there. If a Rhyperior is running an Assault Vest and gets a Sandstorm going, it's Special Defense will actually be higher than it's Defense. I've tricked a lot of people last generation with that particular strategy. When you say Rank 1 Casual Matches, do you mean the Casual Battles or Ranked Battles? Casual Battles don't have any form of ranking, so you could get matched up with anyone. And any Pokémon is allowed there. So you're going to see a lot of Legendaries be used. Ranked Battles are much more likely to pair you up with someone more your level as it looks for people who are at the same rank as you. A lot of the crazy good players have probably progressed to the higher ranks by now. Don't be too disheartened. You'll just need to tweak your team a bit. No-one makes a great team on their first attempt.

What's your team consist of? And what moves do they have? I might be able to give a few pointers.

I've recently been playing Alliance Alive HD and Dragon Quest XI S. I think I'm nearing the end of the actual story part of DQ. So I'll probably write something up on that. I've also started playing my Christmas Gag Gift, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. It's just as horrendous as I remembered. But I'll persevere. Definitely gonna have to take breaks from it. Can't play the damn thing for more than an hour or two before I need to play a good RPG again. Awful, awful game. I'll finish it this time though. Just to show @Dcubed that his evil plan won't beat me.

Sun Stones can be found in the Dusty Bowl area, not Lake of Outrage. Failing that, the Digging Duo or Wild Solrock can get them. If you have a Pokémon with the Super Luck ability, Wild Pokémon are twice as likely to have a hold item.

Ah yes, Corsola's Strength Sap is a move that both lowers the target's attack and heals Corsola by whatever number the attack stat of the opponent is. So essentially, if you're using a strong physical attacker, you're gonna really struggle. It works both ways though, use a Pokémon with rubbish attack and Corsola won't be able to heal as much. For that reason, good counters tend to be strong special attackers such as Hydreigon or Gengar or tanky Pokémon that can use Toxic like Toxapex. Fighting Corviknight is a lot more straight forward. Special based Fire and Electric Pokémon ruin it and if you can get a burn or paralysis on it, all the better. If your Pokémon is actually slower than Corviknight, you can take advantage of it using roost and smack it with a Ground or Fighting type attack whenever it tries to pull a roost.

No problem, I was gonna have to get that candy sooner or later and I'd rather N-E peeps helping me than waiting for random schmos all the time. I look at people with their Zacians, lording it up, only to find that my Toxtricity outspeeds and outdamages them. Effing Toxtricity. Not even using a Choice Scarf, they've got no excuse. And don't get me started on people using awful moves like Hypnosis and this Charizard I saw today using Blast Burn. Oh boy, sure pulling his weight with knocking off one shield notch and then spending the next turn recharging. It's the epitome of "I'm surrounded by idiots" Anyway, that's enough ranting.
-
Great, all sorted. That should be enough candy for me as well. I've gotta get going now. But if anyone needs the Shield exclusive G-Max Raids, I'll happily help with that next weekend.

Oh, right. I just noticed he's not playing his Switch at the moment. OK, I'm gonna open a room now. Same code as before.
-
And there's the Appletun! @markderoos, let me know when you're ready. Oh, and @Ike, your help would be appreciated.
-
That's the first time I've actually used a recovery item in this game. That's how you know things went real south, real fast.
-
Wow, this Frosmoth is ridic!
-
Man, these Appletuns are nowhere today. I'll have to stop at 5pm. But I'll keep looking until then.
-
Not directly Switch related but close enough. That's Ninty's latest recruitment pamphlet. Got some nice official artwork in there. And not just nice and official artwork. Nice, official artwork of Wart of all characters. Why the hell is he chatting to Daisy? Maybe he's asking how she snuck into Smash. Anyway, Wart content means I'm duty bound to shout out to @markderoos
-
If you've caught that species before, yes. Best ball you can use. (Apart from Master, obviously) If you've completed your Pokédex, it works on everything. Anyway, what better Pokémon to cut cake than an Excadrill? EDIT: Actually @markderoos, as long as it's registered on your Pokédex, it counts and Repeat Balls will get the boost. So, you're good to go.
-
You don't have Repeat Balls?
-
Hard luck, @markderoos. I'll keep looking.
-
Room's open.
-
Yep, 4729, I'll open it once @Ike gives the go-ahead.
-
Appletun Alert! I found one. @Ike, @markderoos, let me know when you're ready.
-
This guy doesn't seem to get the hint that Hypnosis is not going to work.
-
It's trying to annoy us to death! And it's bloody working
-
Oh my daze! This Eldegoss is infuriating with all the speed drop animations! Somebody make it stop!
-
I totally planned for that Mirror Coat. You can't prove otherwise! Shut up!
-
Well, if I spot you doing a raid, I'll jump in anyway. I just want the sweeties and vinyl records.
