Nooooo! My streak! Way to salvage that Bowser's Castle 1 race though, @S.C.G
-
Righto, I'll save on Pokémon and boot up the SNES app. OK, room's open, @S.C.G
-
Whenever is most convenient, I have access to the wired connection in the afternoon, so it'd be better then.
-
Any time is fine by me, I'm free all day. Although, if you're available in the afternoon, that would be preferred.

Note: @drahkon was disconnected and his actual score here was 17. Note: All above scores are before the usual recalculation and do not include Champion's Bonus or Loser's Gambit. This is a good opportunity for me to explain more about how the Loser's Gambit works. So, before yesterday, @BowserBasher was last, so he got the opportunity to nominate someone who he think he could beat for some bonus points. He nominated @S.C.G. Now @S.C.G was 2 places above @BowserBasher, so every time he beat @S.C.G in a GP, he got 2 bonus points, which he pulled off in all 3 GP's. Get it? The higher the person the loser nominates, the more points they'll get if they beat them in a GP. High risk, high reward. Keep in mind that this stacks with the Champion's Bonus. @drahkon will take the Loser's Gambit next week. Anyway, with that out of the way... Next League Night: 13th Feburary 8pm Room 1: @BowserBasher is host @Glen-i @BowserBasher @RedShell @martinist @viceview51 @S.C.G @drahkon Now that we've got racing down pat again, it's time to shake the rust off of Battle Mode. OK, @drahkon, so there was a disconnection on your end in the second GP. Normally, when this happens, I tell the disconnected person their score for that GP and if they wish, they can discount it. Effectively, it means they weren't in that GP. Your score in that was 29. For comparison, you got 19 points in the first GP and 14 in the last one. So despite being disconnected, it was your highest scoring GP of the night. I recommend keeping it as it'll increase your average, but it's up to you.

Gaming Podcasts: A Thread about Listening to Others
Glen-i replied to Goron_3's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Hey you! Listen. I don't like Breath of the Wild. You're welcome. -
OK, I'm up and I'm raring to go, but playing with randoms sucks, so I'm gonna work on Mario Kart League stuff until someone here is ready to go. So, just as a reminder, here are the G-Max Raids being featured this time. Sword Amped Toxtricity Kingler Grimmsnarl Shield Low Key Toxtricity Orbeetle Hatterene Gimme a mention when you boot up the game and also if you find any of the Sword Exclusive ones, and I'll do the same for the Shield ones.

Man, @Sprout is too good at this. Especially with Hero, how can one person nail that back air so often? Thanks for the games!
-
That Tingle stage is amazing!
-
Room's open now. I see @RedShell has been tweaking his stages.
-
Toxtricity G-Max is particularly dangerous because of it's G-Max move. It's a guaranteed chance to either poison or paralyse everyone. Paralysis is dangerous in a raid battle because of the lost turns, so electric Pokémon would work good. Steel and Poison are immune to poisoning, but that just makes them more likely to be paralysed. Strangely enough, a well-trained Toxtricity is a great defensive choice. Failing that, ground Pokémon do a lot of damage. And they are immune to electric attacks, so if you have 4 people with ground types, then you don't need to worry about it. If you don't, then you can still be paralysed by someone else getting hit with that move.
-
Normally, yes. But when there's a special raid like this Toxtricity one, they can appear anywhere. So running around, doing all the raids you see is the best way to go about it. And you don't need watts to start raids. You're thinking of Wishing pieces, which can make an inactive den active, but that's only good for looking for a specific Pokémon that isn't event based, like the Toxtricity.
-
What do you mean? All you'd be doing is running around the Wild Area starting up raids?
-
Simply put, I'll be playing a lot of Max Raids tomorrow (And Saturday evening), but I would like a Sword player to start lots of G-Max Toxtricity raids for me to join until I get one I want to train. In return, I'll be catching a lot of Low Key Toxtricities myself if any Sword players wants them.
-
No, if it wasn't in Super Mario Kart, it's not allowed tonight. Green Yoshi only, Normal Mario and Peach and so on.
-
Welp, the G-Max Amped Toxtricity raids are exclusive to Sword. I'll need @Ugh first aid's help or anyone else with Sword for that. Anyway, there's another code for a free Bottle Cap. Enter "C0MPET1T10N"

Counterpoint, follow Villager's eyeline, see where it takes you.
-
Villager has the best track record for looking completely out of place in Smash promotional art and it is always hilarious.
-
Right, back to normality for Smash tonight. Although you can still use Byleth if you want, I suppose. Stock format, 9pm.
-
If you didn't already hand the reins over to @S.C.G, I'd make a petition to fire you for that horrendous attempt at wordplay. Happy Birthday, @Eenuh!

1 week would work better for me. That's normally how long it takes me to make a level anyway.
-
You're damn right. I've been waiting for this G-Max Pokémon to show up! Gimme that guaranteed Poison or Paralysis chance!
