  1. This game is awesome! Me and my mate played campaign on co-op for 8hrs straight on Sat! We've only got a couple more chapters to do as we didn't have enough time to finish the game. I've just played it for 3hrs in single player and it's still frickin awesome!
  2. I could really care less. Doesn't excite me in the slightest.
  3. Oh, Manu away first game for Newcastle...The Bolton home, then Arsenal away. Easy start then.

    GTA IV

Why the hell is there no checkpoints in at least some of the missions? 3 Leaf Clover is pissing me off.
  5. They've sold that many! Can't see a big announcement now. Surely it would have been done before Leeds/Reading announcement.
  6. Testament Municipal Waste Animal Alpha August Burns Red Brigade Chiodos Comeback Kid Exit Ten Hostile Trigger The Bloodshed Valient Thorr Rose Tattoo. Crap.
  7. Wait, is he really complaining about Super Mario Galaxy because you had to wiggle the remote instead of pressing a button? Sad.
  8. God, 150cc is pissing me off. I'm right next to the finish line and I get hit by a blue shell then a red shell. GRRRRRR!
  9. It's so bloody annoying get hit by about 3 blue shells in 1 frickin lap on single player.
  10. I've just gave up having any hope that I'll be able to spend all my stars.
  11. Doing that zoom aim in Red Steel was crap and annoying. So was most of the game though... I liked opening the locks in MP3. Never had any problems with it that I can remember.
  12. I still don't like using the wheel, although I haven't given it much of a chance. I find the Nunchuk the best option, for me, so far. GameCube would be the best apart from having to use the D-pad for tricks. I'm just trying to work my way through all the cups. 50cc is slow and rather boring. Haven't had much of a chance to play through 100cc and 150cc. Need to get some online games under my belt though.
  13. Only played for about 30mins yeterday because it was my birthday. I didn't like using the wheel at all. The nunchuk seems much better. I haven't tried a GameCube controller yet. GamesTM gave it 6/10.
  14. 100% agree. Download just seems a bit crap this year. Every year I've been (and I've been since 2004, I think) it's been one of the best weekends of the year. But I'm just not feeling it this year. Sure, there are bands I want to see. I just don't fancy paying all that money to see them. Unless they pull out some top bands I'll be staying at home. I've never liked any of Bullet For My Valentine's songs. Who are Seether? Biffy Clyro not too bothered about them. Fightstar and Madina Lake...lol. Wouldn't mind having a dance to Pendulum. Slam is an awesome tune.
  15. The Mario Kart I've played most would be Double Dash. I really don't know how many Sunday's my brother, our friend and me spent playing that game. It was so much fun. Hopefully this next installment will keep us entertained for just as long.
  16. Nintendo have always relied on their franchises. They've probably used them to much, espcially Mario. Does he have to be in every game genre known to man? Does anybody really expect Nintendo to create something new for hardcore gamers? I can only see them creating titles that have a broader appeal. Something for the masses. They've had big success going down this route with the Wii so far. Games such as Wii Sports have been huge hits with non gamers, as we all know. They even turned Zelda into a more casual game with Phantom Hourglass for DS. I don't really blame Nintendo for going down this road. It's making them a ton of money right now. But what happens when/if these traditionaly non-gamers get bored of their new hobby? We'll probably get new installments of the same old game series. Not necessary a bad thing, as Nintendo's key franchises are awesome. But I would still like to see some new ones.
  17. Well I just got excited about playing Mario Kart online! Never really been an online gaming person, but how can this be anything but awesome?
  18. Download is looking dreadful! I'm not sure if we're going any more. None of my mates want to go. I love download but the line up is poor so far. Out of that announcement I like the Black Dahlia Murder and that's it. Kid Rock. Why?
  19. Holy crap this game is released on my birthday! Just watched a video of it and I'm not as hyped for it as I would hope. It has probably got something to do with the people in the video, who all have stupid smiles on their faces, holding that plastic wheel. I won't be using that!

    Okami

It is really awesome, it was one of the best games I played on the PS2. It really does come close to beating Zelda.

    Wii Fit

£70? It's a tad expensive! I never had any intentions of buying it anyway. The whole thing looks like a crap mini game collection, but maybe I'm missing the point.
  22. If you can only select a few words what was the point in even adding text chat? Well done Nintendo.
  23. They're a fun live band. I remember when I went to see them at Wembley about 7 or 8 years ago. It was awesome, at the time, but my musical taste has changed alot since then. No doubt I'll enjoy them immensely when I see them again, just for old times sake. Just hope they stay away from Conspiracy of One and the dreadful Splinter.
  24. Last couple of years I've just left my tent 'cos I was too lazy to take it down and pack it away. Plus they never seem to go back into the bag they came in! And it means carrying less stuff back to the car. Oh, that's amother crap thing about festivals: carrying all your stuff. Probably wouldn't be so bad if I didn't take so much alchohol! But that's the most important thing!!!
  25. That's true! I have a friend who goes with us who doesn't really enjoy the music but he still enjoys the festival. It's all about having a good time with your mates. The worst thing is the toilets. Awful.
