If you're coming only for a week, then it's pretty pointless buying one in Spain. If it's internet you want, you might just as well use Wifi networks, there's enough of them. Just go to a bar and ask "¿Tienes Wifi" (pronounced - tee-in-ace wee-fee?), and if you need to ask for the password, say "¿Cual es la clave del Wifi? (Pronounced - Kual es la cla-be del wee-fee?). The PS3 actually only has 256MB of RAM, but it does have the advantage of a faster and more powerful processor than the 360.

Does anyone here know how I can go about unlocking more AR Games? From what I've read, you have to play all 6 AR games at least once in order to unlock the store, but, not only does that not happen on my 3DS, but also each time I start up the application (not sure if this is normal or not), it shows me the starting off guide.

Just give it a try. In theory, reinstalling the game should make it work perfectly, and judging from your problem it could be something silly like a conflict with AVG of some sort of another. (Remember, after installing a new antivirus, reinstall KOTOR 2)
