Did you order from dinopc in the end?? Been reading reviews and they seem to send you used replacement parts. I ordered mine from there everything is fine apart from the wifi adapter which they have agreed to refund as I'll get my own. Also no case cooling so the insides get too hot. They have told me they are going to send me a fan though. My point being do you have an exhaust fan with your pc? could it be a heat problem?

Cheers for the reply McPhee, I'm not sure what to do now, the PC you suggest is good for what I need right now and much cheaper but if I want to upgrade I'll have to buy a whole PC since it doesn't seem very future proof (ddr2 and so on) I'd rather spend a bit more to get more and last longer than buy all over in a few years time I think. I could be talking crap though since I'm not all up on PC speak now. Still its your advice thats made me look at Dino Pc's in the first place which is great so thanks for that! Do you think the set up I posted above will work well together?

This is what I've found CPU: 01018 - AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition CPU Cooler: 03001 - Standard CPU heatsink & fan Motherboard: 04049 - Asus M4A785TD-M Evo (AMD 785G Chipset, 4x DDR3, Onboard Video) Memory: 05028 - 4GB DDR3 1333mhz (2x 2GB) Hard Drives: 06004 - 500GB S-ATAII 3.0Gb/s Optical Drive: 07003 - 22x DVD±RW DL S-ATA Graphics card: 08038 - Onboard Video Sound card: 10001 - Onboard 7.1 Audio Operating System: 11014 - Microsoft® Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Internet: 13003 - Wireless 802.11G PCI card PSU: 18011 - 500W Eagle Case: 17016 - Piano Black ATX Warranty: 1000 - 3 Year Bronze Warranty from HERE All for £471, what do you think? Its similar and cheaper than the original PC suggested. I can use my current sound card and GPU so no need to buy them Still I can't help thinking I'm going OTT for a PC i'll mainly use for music, moves internet and the odd high end game. I used to spend my life on PC games so its hard to get the old gamer out of me and buy a cheap PC! A huge expense is updating windows, I could save myself 80 quid and stick with Vista but 7 looks so much better! Paul

thats a great website thank you so much for your suggestions, better yet its based in Team Valley, Gateshead, just round the corner from me! I really hope its not my graphics card that the problem, but with all the issues I'm having with my PC I'm thinking its just too old! Sometimes it wont boot up and I have to use my windows disk, which I wouldn't think was my graphics card. Thanks again Paul

Hi I need your help please:grin: Well it looks like my PC has died , I'm not even sure what's wrong with it but its old and slow. The motherboard fan doesn't work, the graphics card doesn't kick in so I can't be bothered. I'd love to have a go at building my own but I don't have the confidence or time to do so. I used to use my PC for gaming but not really that much now, it would have to be good enough to run crysis on decent settings but it doesnt have to be able to run NASA. The graphics card I currently have is Nvidia 8800GT, I'm not even sure if its good any more as its quite old, as I said I think one of the problems could be the graphics card. Hopefully I can use it again. I'd say I'm happy to spend about £450 but I can go over. I know nothing about current PC specs since its been so long since i've looked into anything. I'm gonna try use my old GPU but if it doesnt work Ill just upgrade later Anyway HERE is what I've found. I'm looking at the ones priced £429 or £489 If anyone can let me know if they think these are any good or suggest other places to look that would be great! Thanks

Thanks I ordered it and I should have my new TV today yey!

Sorry If this has been asked a million times but I'm going to buy a new TV tomorrow and I want to connect my PC, xbox 360 and Wii to it. I think I'm gonna go for a 26" LCD one as my Room is quite small and I think sitting in front of anything bigger would just be stupid. Now I'm confused by the connections I can't really find a TV which has DVI connection But I know you can get an adapter for DVI to HDMI for the TV. Dones anyone know what kinda quality i'm gonna get with this? I do want a good picture quality when I play games on my PC. Bit I don't think I have room to have my 19" LCD PC monitor AND a 26" LCD TV, I don't want a small LCD either as I wanna watch DVD's and stuff. Any advice? Cheers

I love RE:2 I do wish they would remake it as its my fav all time game, the story is great the music is amazing, and I think it has a great ending. RE:3 i didn't like so much, just finished RE:CV for the first time last month, really enjoyed it. I've always been a fan of the series I remember playing RE:1 on the PSone that was amazing for its time, the remake is cool too as is Zero.

Hiya, Well I did a stupid thing tonight! I set up another user account on my PC running vista. I didn't want them to have access to my USB HD so I fiddled witht he security and now I have locked myself out of it! When I try add myself it says I don't have permission to do it! In the security tab there is "admins" "SYSTEM" AND "PAUL PC" all have full access! How the heck to I get access back! I'm so annoyed at myself!

I agree I think its sooo stupid I can't give blood because I'm gay. I get tested every 6 months and I have never EVER had a single STD. As the above post says it gets screen before anyway! Its just daft

Yeah I love my Evesham PC but they were bought out by the people that owned Time PC's apparently. They went down hill after that! Also i read that Mesh and even Dell are struggling, not so sure how true the Dell part is though.
-
Just had a phone call from a mate, who has an Evesham PC like me, just to let him know they have gone into administration and his warrantee is not VOID! Also trying to sell him another warrantee with someone else. I've had my PC from just less than 2 years now and have lost out on the 3rd year on site warrantee. So just to let anyone else know who has an Evesham PC!

Im off to Glasgow in May for a weekend, where are the best places to go??? I was quite late really as I always looked so young so could never get into bars till I was actually 18. Even then getting wasted every weekend didn't really appeal to me. However, from about 21 and making new friends I started going out nearly everyweek and still do now. My poor poor liver!

1 in 5 adults did NOT know you can catch HIV from unsafe sex! I just read that, so was the first thing I thought of, but come on who doesn't know that!

I agree, I was quite lazy at school and it wasn't until my GCSE's came up and i kinda though "oh shit i know fuck all" i so i went though books copying loads of stuff, it was boring yes, but i learnt so much! I think your teacher is a bit old school, now its all about keeping the pupils entertained. She should be teaching you in the lessions and leave the note taking for homework. You could get her to spice up the lessons a bit though! Just ask. I'd be going over her head, and getting mother and farther involved! I'd be going nuts! This kinda happend to me once but I did base my work on a article that my teacher knew, I didn't think I did anything wrong but I was annoyed how he said it was word for word and I had just copied and paste of the computer, which i did NOT do!

I seen a program about people in coma's a while back its nothing like on TV soaps when they just wake up and are fine. They are kinds in a state of half sleep, and its a case of time as they slowly wake up. Depending on how long they are in the coma to how long it takes them to recover but they DO make a full recovery. I hope she will make a quick recovery, keep us informed on how she's doing.

Same with "bird flu" if it did ever mutate to infect humans it would work in this way, killing the fittest, while the weak survive! I get colds alot, well I'll wake up one day feeling a little snotty and rough but the next day I'm fine! I have a cold right now but had it a few days, i'm feeling sorry for myself I really am a typical man cold kinda guy! I did have flu 2 years ago with a severe chest infaction that was awful it got so bad i actually spent about 3 days crying. I went totaly nuts the doc just said that was due to the infection! Strange how it effects your mind to. I had it for about 3 weeks before going to the doc and him telling me off for not coming sooner as my chest was so bad, I was put on antibiotics to get rid of it. I was always told "you don't go to the doc's for cold/flu you just ride it out" I think when you start coughing up blood its time to get yourself to a doc though! Oh and that was the one and only year I actually had the flu jab!

Ha ha I need to get myself a new fun buddie, I find it overly complex sometimes tho! The first one fell for me the 2nd i fell for them. Is it possible just to have "fun" with a "friend" and not develop feelings?

I was on Citalopram but I came off it because it did nothing for me, just felt wrong to be on it and it killed my libido! I found meditation not medication helpful to help me get though the hard times.

The fact I still get a cheeky little smurk on my face when i think about it. I don't want him, it was a just a one off bit of fun. Infact I've totaly gone off him now oh well

Not just any st8 guy, just the one i really fancied for ages! Although the fact he did do stuff to me may question his sexuality. Or he really was that drunk! I'm sure it won't work with every st8 guy, i think they have to be a little fruity maybe?

Anyone use gaygamer.net its quite cool met a couple of people on there. I haven't had xbox live for long and I have no friends met a few local lads too! Speaking of websites what one's do you use? like gaydar or faceparty? or do u not bother? i use both but only get chatted up by old men or someone wanting a shag, where as faceparty just your 18 -20 year olds, which is too young for me.

I pulled a st8 guy once it was actually quite easy. And i thought quite a well known way of doing it. We were talking about being gay and st8 and sex blah blah blah anyway I just said would u ever have a b/j of a guy he said no i'm not gay. I just said well if a lass offered me a bj I would have one (a lie) doesn't make me st8 does it? He replied well i guess not, so its the same for a guy! I got my wish anyway! There is something far more horny playing with a st8 guy for some reason! Oh and yeah he was drunk, odd thing is when he's drunk now and text's me to come round, not that i would he's not that exciting when you get it handed on a plate.

I was very depressed this time last year it was a very very dark time for me. I just didn't want to live anymore, i really wished i was dead. I didn't go to work, I didn't eat, i stopped going out. But since I was actually alive i didn't want to live in that state of mind so i tried so hard to get on with my life and to get over it. And guess what I did, it was ALOT of hard work, all in all it took a year and a half but I'm happy again. Not 100% but i don't think i was ever 100% happy. I did try AD's but the side effects were bad for me, and after about 6 months I came off them slowly against my doc's wishes. It was the best thing I ever did! I don't think I'll ever go back to that state of mind again. I know what to do when I start to feel "weird" and I have a good support network to help me when times get bad. As for that test this time last year i got top marks, now i only got 13! Yey for me!
