  1. Hell yes! I absolutely this movie! Iron Man Loved it. Robert Downey Jnr. is brilliant in it. Gwyneth Paltrow is gorgeous in it. It really did the comics justice! 8/10!
  2. Man City make an approach to Luiz Felipe Scolari to replace Sven... ...according to the Beeb http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/m/man_city/7387397.stm
  3. Rumour has it (read: Daily Mail), Dennis Wise is poised to step into Kevin Keegan's disillusioned boots this summer.
  4. I took about 300 photos on my trip to Sydney a little while ago, but this one is my favourite because of the colours and the juxtaposition of Chinese and Wertern architecture, tourism with sanctity and the various lights and darks etc. I'm also in no way whatsoever a photographer!
  5. Well, according to the instructors if you can't see the ground from 12,000ft then they can't do the jump. Safety precautions. We had an unbelievably clear morning ffor though, some wispy low-lying cloud, snow on the mountains, sunshine beating down - but when they opened the door at 12,000ft snow bilowed into the plane!!! You don't really get any time to think about jumping when it's time as your instructor just pulls you onto the edge of the plane - you pose for a picture then assume the freefall position and bang! you're on your way! The first 4-5 seconds are heart-stopping! You see the ground rushing towards you and then you spin upside down and see the plane falling away from you, but after those initial few moments you feel like you're floating on the air even though you rapidly approach 200kph! The parachute deploys and you spend 4-5 mins gracefully coming down. Then it took me about 2 hours to come down off the adrenalin rush!
  6. Did it at 9am this monring after it was cancelled yesterday due to bad weather! UNREAL! BEST FUCKING THING I EVER DID!!
  7. Yup. Doing a skydive in Wanaka tomorrow. It's 1.15am here at the moment and I'm up in less than 6 hours to hire a car, then drive 5 hours to Wanaka and throw myself out of a plane, all in celebration (??) of my flatemates 21st. hmmm.... >.<
  8. Maaaaarching On Together! We're gonna see you win (na na na na na na) We are so proud, we shout it out loud We love you Leeds, Leeds, LEEDS!!
  9. We'll win in Wembley. Being promoted with a 15 point deduction isn't a bad way to look at things. Points saga is over, lets concentrate on getting into the Championship.
  10. You aren't far wrong with your assumptions, but...(there's always a but!)...it's not that we were the first to break "these rules", as you put it, it's the fact that the FL punished us retrospectively after introducing new rules. How is that fair whatsoever? Retrospective punishment for a breaking a rule that did not exist at the time of breaking it... As for the backlash you speak of, yup entirely possible. But if the likes of Donnington, Carlisle, Southend and Swansea proceed with a legal challenge to the FL if we do get 10+ points back aren;t they admitting to throwing some of their own matches and relying on Leeds being -15 at the end of the season? It's a minefield for the FL, an absolute quagmire. But it's their own doing. Leeds and the FL agreed for the arbitration decision to be binding, so whatever the outcome nobody can change it. There will be hell to pay either way. What I would like to say is that my respect for Forest has been totally proven in this scenario as they are the only team ahead of us who haven't said a word about the "Leeds points saga". I hope they gain promotion with us, regardless of whether we get the points back or not. The 15 points deduction had nothing to do with entering administration but rather how we exited it. We didn't follow the FL's preferred exiting strategy - being the first club in the history of Football to do so, due to impossible demands set by the FL and the British Taxman. Then, with fear of repeating myself, punished us after writing a new rule disallowing our exit stategy. Hardly fair to punish a club for something which wasn't illegal when they did it. It's be like going back and fining every person who smoked in the pub prior to the bans being introduced. Ludicrous.
  11. Happy Birthday Aimless
  12. Only have MSpaint to edit it with but I think it looks pretty damn cool! Might try sprucing it up in college tomorrow on PS.
  13. Here's mine: http://www.last.fm/user/conzer16/
  14. Indeed, I seem to have mixed up quotes from ramar and red_shift. What exactly have Leeds done wrong. Can ANYBODY (including the Football League) actually show where we did something wrong. The answer is no - its why the FA stepped in to put it to an independent arbitration panel to stop this ending up in the Courts of Law. Bournemouth did exaclty what we did and were'nt docked 15 points. There will be an awful lot of legal fallout whichever way the decision goes, ut ultimately it's because the FL acted like dickheads when sanctioning and imposing a penalty for something that they hadn't written in their rulebook. The insolvency guidelines in football need to be rewritten and updated because Leeds managed to find a loophole but were then punished illegally.
  15. In all fairness, how can you say something like that? Leeds deducted 15 points for breaking League rules that don't exist and still making the playoffs is a joke? Bookies had us at 3/1 to be relegated from this div. Hilarious! I agree that we deserve to be where we are - in the 3rd div, we've had a disastrous few seasons, couldn't deny that, but we don't deserve being fucked about by the FL just because we're Leeds United. Wait till the arbitration hearing comes through, where we will get at least some points back (legal folk reckon about 5-7) proving that the FL acted against their own rules. Oh and fighting for a place in the play offs? We had one in a canter tbh. We should be in second automatic. Ever heard the saying "Kicking a man while he's down"? Yes that's all we are, scum. Scummy players, scummy chairman, scummy club. We've never tried to deny that we had everything there for the taking then we disastrously blew it all. It's the biggest fall from grace English soccer has ever seen. But we are a big club, in fact our average attendance places us 14th in England, ahead of 5 Premiership sides and every Championship side. We are a huge club, it can't be denied. No point in saying we aren't when it's fucking obvious we are. See here here and here for the attendance figures. In fact, have a look there again. You'll see that every club in League bar 2 had the season high attendance (for some its was all time record attendance) when Leeds came to play. And Leeds' presence in League One has proved to be a money maker all around. http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/United-on-the-road-to.3624793.jp I'm actually sick of having this argument. Leeds against the world. Good to see someone has their head screwed on when the Leeds Scum argument rears its head.
  16. J7 and soag yeah it was the wildlife sanctuary just north of Sydney. We stopped in on our way to do a bicycle tour of the Hunter Valley wineries!
  17. Me feeding a kangaroo just outide Sydney as few days ago:
  18. Leeds beat Yeovil last night to guarantee a place in the play-offs. What a fucking season we've had. Now give us our 15 points back you bollocks' and let us rightly auto-qualify for the Championship. The Football League: Fair and Balanced
  19. <.< yay! for lowercase!!!
  20. Happy Birthday Lads!
  21. Happy Birthday Daniel! Tis all downhill from here! :p
  22. Currently I live on the complete other side of the world from Europe so staying up late here would actually mean being totally normal at home! I'm 11 hours ahead of Ireland at the moment thanks to DST starting at home and ending here (New Zealand).
