Does anyone else think that there has been very little 'point of sale' promotional stuff for Twilight Princess in shops? I mean, I have been in loads of game shops and havent seen a single standee or poster for it on either the Wii or Gamecube. The only thing I have seen is a large display box for the game on Wii, but even that only has Zelda on one side of the box and the Wii controller on the other... Even the Wind Waker had posters, standees, display boxes, 'window dangleys' the 'countdown clock' etc Has anyone seens any other promo stuff? I guess I just expected Nintendo to make a bigger fanfare of one of their biggest ever releases, and one of the biggest games of this year... Yet another Zelda tin! Where is this one from? Now there are three different tins to get and a set of postcards....Oh the trouble of being a zelda collector (If anyone has any zelda tins/postcards they are interested in selling for a reasonable price please pm me)

I read on another forum that it contains four Zelda postcards, quoted:- 1 is a picture of link attacking with his sword. 2 is link posing with sword and shield 3 is an angled front view of link standing with his arms by his side 4 is link as a 'cowboy' On the back of all of them is the words 'coming soon to gamecube' and the official nintendo logos and copyright notices. Pretty cool, I hope my copy comes with them! Noooooooo! I pre-ordered from gameplay too. I want me tins and cards!

I think you could be right Play.com have cancelled all orders for the game and removed it from the site, its not even available to order from amazon anymore! Looks like they may have made it a GAME plc (which includes Gameplay) exclusive like they have done in Australia

Cant seem to find the post on dvdforums, any chance of a link? Also, anyone know if Gameplay are also issuing the cards? I really hope so what with them being owned by GAME and even using the same warehouse... ...and still no word on where that Zelda tin is from?!?

Hi everyone Im totally new to the world of Firefox, and havent even installed it yet. I have only used IE6 upto now but have heard so many great things about Firefox I decided I want to give it a go. ...So my question is, which version should I go for -1.5 or 2.0? Im a total newbie at this so any advice or pointers to good Firefox info sites etc would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Hi all, I hope this is the right place to ask this... I just wondered if anyone can tell me what the best cable splitter is for ntl? (Im splitting it for another ntl cable/TV box) I have seen so many on ebay but I have no idea what is the best splitter with the least signal loss. Some of them mention that one output has a 'powerpass' but I have no idea what this is, or if I need it? Is there a specific splitter that ntl themselves use? Also, what type of cable do ntl themselves use? (ive heard its H109?) Lastly, when the cable runs into my house to the wall socket its a thick black two-core cable. In the ntl wall socket one cable has a connector fitted and the other is just knotted up and left inside the box. If I were to fit a connector to this other cable would it be 'live' so to speak? ANy help would be much appreciated

I have to say that I am alittle dissapointed by the price - its not so much the price itself, but rather the fact that it is SO much more expensive than the USA/JPN Wii's consoles I for one am not at all interested in Wii Sports, I would rather I could buy the Wii without it. I'm guessing from the difference between the USA and JPN prices, that Nintendo is charging £20.00 extra for Wii Sports - and I would rather buy the Wii on its own for £160.00. I certainly dont think Nintendo should be charging for Wii Sports - to me it seems to be more of a 'tech demo' to show off what the controller is capable of, rather than a full game. I wonder how many people would actually buy 'Wii Sports' for £20.00 if it retailed separately from the console? In the end though I guess I can accept the £180 price tag. What I cant accept though is the price for the controllers - £45.00! They should be selling the Wiimote and nunchuk together for £30-35 max. £45.00 makes the price for multiplayer gaming really add up - which from my understanding was one of Nintendo's big selling points for the Wii console - hence the name Wii - 'Wii play together' etc. Anyway, just my little rant::shrug:

No offense, but this is the main thing that stops me from shopping in GAME anymore. Why 'gut' the games? I mean they are all nice and nintendo sealed/cellophane wrapped when they arrive, and then they are ripped open and gutted! Sometimes things like the 'stars' leaflet even go missing Why not just use display cases? Im sure most games companies would provide them if asked OR just the sleeve inserts which could be placed into a standard DVD case for display... Sorry, just my little rant! : peace:
