  1. I remember Iwta's 'wow' being in the same line as in 'graphics will be good enough, you'll get the experience'. I think he meant something in the lines of that. He meant the 'wow' more in the way that it blew you away with gameCube and it will do that some more with Wii.
  2. Now really, he'll be evil. I just think that he once could have been an admirable guy, but then he is betrayed or something. Perhaps by the King of Hyrule. And so he turns evil and madd willing to take revenge on the world that destroyed his life. I personally would enjoy such a story. @ Stuwii: after the malo mart sub-paying-quest talk to the old goron elder, you've seen him before in the mines, who's standing outside the shop. He'll ask you to deliver it and throw it on him. Here's a tip: jsut move on the side of the gorge, with fewer enemies (you can take out moblins from afar with your eagle's eye). That makes it easier.
  3. Source: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=158792 I remember Microsoft saying that Wii was not going to make it.
  4. Damned funny. Made me RoFL! or LoL! or RoXoR! Okay, not roxor. It made me laugh at least.
  5. Perform an isntall without key (trial version will install) and then run the install with key, running on vista. See previous post. Or it refers to how to do it if you do'nt have XP.
  6. You're seeing things, dude. The Wii is capable of better graphics than an Xbox, for sure. It is a souped up Xbox. And Metroid Prime games have always looked great. There is just no real footage except filmed on avaible. Both are very true facts up untill now. Just please remember that the last time Nintendo showed the game they didn't allow anyone to take captures of it - so all screenshots are films of playing the game, not movie captures. And it's called advertising. If you should blame someone for lying, it's sony. 4D? Doesn't exist, Sony. Except if the PS3 can travel through time.
  7. The word 'arse' reveals a lot. In the same breath with PC. I was just pointing out that I bring mac in only when there's a reason. If he stated windows computer, I wouldn't haave bothered getting mac in the topic. And then comes you who just says that windows is on it's arse after four years. That's not always true. Just aas much as macs are still good investments after five years. Ah well, i'm not here to fight.
  8. I am Belgian and i'm not. Dislectic. Sorry about the spelling correction then, because I didn't want to insult you. Yes, IGN Matt, who has been craving for a sensor bar wire of about ninety foot ever sicne he got his eyes on the official one. Or a wireless sensorbar, apparantly. If you're dislectic, how do you remember your name "Maiky-NiSuTe" - I wouldn't be able to type those in the right order when I'm dislectic.
  9. Apparantly not only international, concering the recent threads that have strangely dissappeared. I'm not hating anyone. Gaming PC's don't last long, but old computers don't last long either. Okay Shino, you computer doesn't even load JPEGs anymore. What's it worth using for, then? Surfing the web is a constant incoming of JPEGs. My dad's foru year old computer can't surf the web, lsiten to music and check the mail at the same time. Now if I'de buy a new computer, it could. Don't blame me, Shino, I pledged for a fair discussion for macs, not a blind-eye fanbase.
  10. I don't really think so. It could be possible. But it has nothing to do with that in the Wind Waker. The point is, Ganondorf was just another Bad Guy in the Wind Waker - and I want to see a good ganondorf turn evil. it would make the story so much more involving and emotional, not?
  11. Actually, the thread last night was really funny. it was a classic read and it was one of those thread that are really going into the realm of the legends. I personally think only the person that evoked all these troubles should just be told so and said never to do it again. Make him sit on a bar for a night or so, or just give him a knee-lock, like those convicts in the Netherlands. Seriously, what a futile subject was that? And there was actually only one person responsible for it - sorry, motion. If you're willing to be influenced by such a small, ironic sentence. You've just adopted another cliché for the gay-world, motion. Getting pissed about the damn word. Oh My God. But a good move on the admins side, though. And I agree - there was a time to be scared of the posting, but there needs to be a certain rule. That's why we all hate police - but they only do things when ti's necessary to interfere.
  12. How much memory of the Wii would it need to cache all the pages? Ten blocks? Twenty? I'm willing to sacrifice that for speed here. And thanks to WiiConnect24 they can easely update those pages when necessary. Come on, Nintendo.
  13. Again, i'de really like to know how many of you have the Wii on the other side of the room from their telly. I jsut kept the little wrap around the cable for the sensor bar, since the max of the eight-or-so meters I'm using is one. Not really that much, is it? I don't think to many people have their Wii eight meters from their television or say five, with some detours to make it all look nice. Really, who has it? Not many. Except you. And Matt Cassamassina. Oh, and corrected that awfull spelling there.
  14. I haven't read all posts, but I'm willing to cast my opinion on it. Creationism is a theory, just as evolution - both were posted by men. The Bible can speak of sins and of stories - but sadly enough, the Bible is writen by men as well. Is God an almighty punisher? No. God doesn't exist. At least, not in something like the bible. My teachers in catholicism told me that I am a positivist and an atheist. I believe in science more than religion. Religion isn't necesarely bad, but it makes people so unaware of the thruth. I believe in evolution, simply because evolution is proven. Somebody in the thread said "they think if we can't see it, it doesn't exist" - but we can see evolution. We did tests with plants, not through natural selection, but we tested it. Evolution works. Survival of the fittest. The question I pose is, if God created us, then why did he come so late in the history of mankind? And if Adam and Eve were the first people ever, the father and mother of all men - then why don't we all look like Adam's and Eve's? We all look different, so why is that? You caan't deny that the way we make babies and children - from DNA to chromosones - is wrong, is it? Science is right about that - then why don't we all have the same combined Adam and Eve DNA? Mutation. Evolution. I like to believe we're only at the doorstep of evolution. It doesn't end here. The problem is, in our eighty years of lifetime, we're not able to see whole species evolve, because four generation only makes insignificant changes to a specie. If God exists, then why doesn't he tell us - personally - that we must live our lives in his rules? No he tells us by a book writen by humans, whom we don't know and of who we are not sure to trust. And he will punish us when we die? If he was a true God, he'd be honest enough with us to tell us what it's for and how to live, personally, so that we cannot be punished for our misdoings in his eyes. All of you creationists, dream on.
  15. You know (here I am all mac again), hardware is as good as it's software. Macs might not be the most powerfull books in the world, but they've got a great, optimized, operating system. So you can do things as good on a mac as on a 'better' windows computer. That's why you're wrong, thirtynine. And your avatar annoys me like hell. Anyway, it scares the hell out of me. I've got a iBook G4 and compared to recent windows computers mine is as fast as a nine-medal olympic runner. Compared to the bronze medal for the 100-meter, that is. Sorry.
  16. Me too, but some people enjoy knowing what they do. Thinking. I mean, when did thinking do something good for man kind? Pah, thinking.
  17. You're not actually mentioning mac in a computer-related article? You could just be killed for that by certain people. We should all be silent about Macs and pretend they don't exist. Just like the best stuff, it's not allowed. Anyway, I'de greatly advise you to get a mac, though. It's simple and intuitive. I talked to a friend yesterday whop had recently purchased a mac and he said he was afraid of the switch to macOs X because he thought it would be hard. It took him ten minutes to get used to it and he doesn't want to go back after a quarter of an hour. That roves it, doesn't it?
  18. Take out as much as you can, but most of all, take out those birds. They costed my brother six game-hours before we got the clue. We saw that they dropped the bomb just before the long strait to the gate. If you kill them, they'll move on. And off course, don't get it burned.
  19. Wonderfull! Didn't think of Majora, but it might have some great story potential. Maybe Ganondorf can be the Fierce Deity Link - but was turned evil by it. I just want to see a good guy Ganondorf for once and feel why he turned evil. It would be great. Why can't they make such a perfect story with good turning evil and the world falling? Or maybe this: Ganondorf seeks revenge on his greatest enemy (haven't sorted out who yet) and wants the triforce for this, but is then absorbed in a story in wich he is seen as evil. Oh, maybe it could be the King of Hyrule who had isolated the Gerudo for no reason whatsoever. It would be awesome. Is anybody in for a 'the next zelda'-thread?
  20. If you quoted my whole post, there was no need to quote. I mentioned the projectors.
  21. Hit the birds with the bombs - if they drop the bomb just before the wagon, the wagon will turn and do another round. Make sure you got those. That's the best advice.
  22. But how small were these updates? They were iterations of the same console. The GameCube got some changes, yes, like the digital out (HD out, actually) port that was removed in the later models. But no console has extended the memory capacity yet. Actually, only a few consoles got important updates. I'm sure that Nintendo won't upgrade the internal memory. Becaause they would make us, original Wii owners, buy a new console if they're getting bigger channels loaded on the system. Hardware changes are possible, but not ones that will be important to the consumer. We won't notice. We could be seeing aa smaller version of the Wii - and maybe the next iteration will load the channels some faster. But i'm sure Nintendo won't rip me off in a year from now. If they do, it's a PS3-time for me.
  23. I think somebody else already said it, but I'll run with the honor here. It was a blog, not a newssite. A blog is a Personal Web Log, wich means he can tell things he wouldn't post as news. You're all just making a big deal out of it - as if you're searching for someone to shit on, and you've just found your sitting duck.
  24. It's the magic. perhaps you should throw your Windows out of the window? Sorry, it was just too irrestable. I never had any problems with a mouse on windows (nor mac, if that's the matter).
  25. Now why would anyone take the risk of breaking their only avaible sensor bar? It looks like a difficult thing to do. And only those with front-projection screens should be having problems with it - most of us don't, not? So, who's having trouble with the length of the wire of your sensorbar?
