Mine came today. (First time shopping with Simply Games - ordered it yesterday, it arrived today, a day early!) I haven't played an AC since Black Flag, and whilst this isn't a million miles away by any means, it's certainly fun. Been playing it for about seven hours straight so that must be a good sign. London looks great.

Very much looking forward to the finale, especially after the last episode!

My blu-ray player hasn't been used since I bought my PS4 so I would also argue that, whilst not essential, it is certainly a very big plus.

I never said I wanted the new Zelda to be like the Witcher 3 but W3 is evidence enough that big open world games don't have to be bland and empty. You could have hundreds of little towns in Zelda, made up of weird and interesting peoples each with a few side quests each. From rounding up cuckoos (sp?) and pigs to saving the town from enemies to mini dungeons nearby with puzzles. For example you could have a frozen village, its inhabitants all frozen solid, you have to find a cave nearby and solve a puzzle to unfreeze them. The possibilities are endless. If you can only imagine Zelda having a bland, lifeless world then that's a lack of imagination on your part.

Didn't have a chance to play the beta and haven't read all the posts incase of spoilers. What's the general consensus?

They've said for a while they'll be released same day, so, not long I'd imagine!

I skip countless levels. Not because they're too hard but because they're cheap, with enemies falling from above like Serebii said; they're automatic - what's the point?; or they're just designed as troll levels, with shit flying everywhere and enemies placed in every conceivable spot allowed!

Buy it to play U4 and all the other games.

Apparently Sean comes on around the 8 minute mark - and the footage is meant to be amazing. I'm not watching it, I've seen enough already. Still no release date. Maybe at their NY showcase today.

So they're on tonight (tomorrow morning for us) - it does make me wonder if they have a release date to give or whether they're showing showcasing the game to the masses. Still makes me think they're gearing up for a release as the masses are fickle and could forget if this isn't released soon.

Yeah Broken Age looks good. And I already bought the Unmechanical game a while ago. It's not bad either, I just wasn't really in the mood to think and it was a puzzler-ish title.

Aw wow it's got Corin Nemec in it - Jonas from SG-1's season 6! Only looked at a few seconds but that looks more like the Star Trek I love than the reboot. Cheers!

I've been wanting to try Super Meat Boy for years so this is good news!

Yeah I probably have over a hundred titles now and cannot see why you'd need folders.

The American version has been cancelled anyway so no real point in watching it. I was lucky enough to be at the international premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival last week and watched the first two episodes of season two. If you liked season one, you'll really enjoy season two. Set six month after the last episode the mystery deepens with some answers being delivered towards the end of the first episode. The first half being quite confusing but in a good way. I won't say anymore so as not to ruin it, but it was really enjoyable watching them on the big screen, and also having the creators there for a Q&A. They stipulated they've always known how it was going to end, but the middle parts have changed along the way.

I've been in Toronto for a week at TIFF, but have come back and gone straight on Mario Maker. Only had a day or so with it so not sure how long it'll keep me hooked yet. I'm not totally sure when the next PS4 release for me is. Maybe Star Wars in November? Still need to get Tearaway Unfolded when my student loan comes through.

Super Mario Land was also my first, followed by Super Mario Bros. SML is still one of my favourites!
