  1. No, you're right. A Star Wars TV show would never work.
  2. After four years of Enterprise I never really knew Hoshi or Travis so that's not completely true.
  3. True, but other Trek shows had double the amount of episodes. If we're comparing to old shows then we've just hit the middle of season 2 - so I think we're making some pretty good mileage with regards to getting to know the crew.
  4. All of that would be great! They've got so much scope for stories now we're in (almost) completely new territory. And whilst I'm completely happy for them to take us on whatever journeys they have planned I am curious about:
  5. I loved this season. Definitely my favourite season of Discovery so far - I much preferred the slower pacing. My thoughts on the cause of the burn?
  6. Congrats! I enjoyed Speck
  7. I actually felt quite sick for most of that episode. I've never been so invested in a battle but then again no battle has had 70+ hours of build up before. What a ride!
  8. If I recall next weeks episode is 82 minutes and yeah, after the whole episode dedicated to The Battle of The Bastards - I'd fully expect the whole thing to be a battle. I think a movie length battle will be a satisfying enough end to a seven-season build up. Well, that's it's good which I have no doubt it will be. Regarding this week's episode:
  9. I personally use the Moves. Once you get the hang of them they are extremely intuitive. Experience using them in PSVR is a bonus.
  10. Cheers. I've bought the Early Access but won't be playing for a while, too busy atm. Just bought it as there were rumblings of limited numbers!
  11. That episode mirrored the pilot perfectly.
  12. It's not so much the mopey old git he turned out to be - that's perfectly reasonable considering how much of a whiny teenager he was. It's more that there wasn't enough time devoted to him being conflicted about murdering his nephew. Remembering the lengths he went through trying to turn his father back to the light side, I just didn't buy there was no other way than to murder Leia's son while he slept. Mainly my issue is, that after forty years, that was the best story involving Luke they could come up with.
  13. No Man's Sky is getting the VR treatment. It's not a separate mode, it's the full game full universe in VR. And for free!
  14. I signed it yesterday morning and it was at 22K. Now it's nearly 800K. Theresa's speech certainly had an impact, haha!

    Netflix

I watched it until the end. I wished I hadn't. If It'd known SyFy had made it I wouldn't have started. Stop. Stop now. For your own good!
  16. Haven't been able to play much over the past few weeks as I've moved house. There's been a lot of great stuff coming out - glad the NDA lifted!
  17. They won't...
  18. Can't believe May spent two years negotiating a deal and then votes on an amendment to it - and begs her party to as well! She is holding on to the same deal she delayed in December. Nothing has changed and nothing will. The best deal is the one we've already got.
  19. It's hard to say for sure as I have always wanted to migrate back out of the UK (lived in Australia for a while back in the 00s) but Brexit is certainly what drove me to actually start the process. I see a long recession and bitterly divided future for the UK. I'd rather not suffer that if I don't have to.
  20. I'd rather just leave than unite, to be honest. (But, yes, she's awful)
  21. I doubt May did what she did on purpose. She's been shit her entire career. Put in my application for emigrating to Canada today. Fingers crossed.
  22. Resident Evil 7 is the only one I've never finished due to actual fear and that's all thanks to VR.
  23. I've been in the beta since December but yeah... NDA.
  24. Not sure if you're replying to me Ronnie but I have you on block.
  25. My hype regarding anything Star Wars has dwindled to nothing. I still cannot fathom why people think TLJ brings anything "new" or "refreshing" to the franchise. It was the Battle/Escape of Hoth drawn out into a whole film, littered with awkward humour and cheap twists. It felt like a bottle-episode of a tv show.
