Posted November 10, 2006 Gmail is e.mail from Google.. it's very good and free. While it is in beta you have to be invited. I have invites for anyone who is still on old fashioned Hotmail. You get 10mb attachments, 2.0+ gigabytes of space so you don't need to delete mail, a world class spam filter, only text adverts, a search feature, fully compliant with Outlook/Thunderbird/Apple Mail. It's pretty much the best.. but it's become a bit of a boys club because you have to know a geek to get invited.. which can be tough. Most people will have it by now if you want it, certainly the chances are slim that you've not heard of it.
