Happenstance Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Anyone see the headbutt on Riise tonight? Totally out of order.
Babooo Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I thought the Chelsea/Barca match was diabolical....was disgusted throughout the whole match. I admit both sides played good football but most of the match was just full of diving and general moaning by both sets of players. It was awful. It may have been entertaining to watch but personally I hated it. All the diving, moaning and beef...that was what the match was about. It wasn't about the football. Deserved to be a draw....
Stocka Posted October 31, 2006 Author Posted October 31, 2006 lol did anyone here about the incident where a fan threw a plastic bottle at Lampard? (on saturday I think) I couldn't help but laugh so hard
Platty Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 All the goals were good tho. Dunno how Lampard squeezed his in, i reckon he was going for a cross!
Max Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 is it me or do ITV love up chelsea and arsenal much more than utd and liverpool? i mean they ignored all the prolems caused on the pitch by drogba/essian and flamed marques/poyal/mutta.
Noodleman Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 is it me or do ITV love up chelsea and arsenal much more than utd and liverpool? i mean they ignored all the prolems caused on the pitch by drogba/essian and flamed marques/poyal/mutta. Utter rubbish, have you ever heard Clive "I bum Man Utd constantly even when they aren't playing or have anything to do with the match" Tyldsley commentate on a match ffs. And they where quite critical of Drogba throwing himself on the floor every time some one so much as looked at him.
Stocka Posted November 3, 2006 Author Posted November 3, 2006 Arsenal might be buying a player called...SHENHUA  http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=426346&CPID=217&clid=3&lid=2&title=Gunners+eye+Chinese+starlet mmmm...
Noodleman Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 3-1 win over league leaders Cardiff today. \o/ STAYING UP STAYING UP STAYING UP
Charlie Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 Celtic were very lucky today, Craig Gordon scored an o.g in the 4th minute of stoppage time to give use the lead.
James Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 Dirk Kuyt is a goal machine, yay yay another good home win, now just win away from home!!!
Babooo Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 It was only a matter of time till Kuyt started scoring for fun........I rate him. Anyway us gooners are playing West Ham tomorrow and I'm expecting a well fought win. It won't be easy but a win is needed. We could go third!!
gmac Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 Celtic were very lucky today, Craig Gordon scored an o.g in the 4th minute of stoppage time to give use the lead. that was absolutely brilliant, I've never laughed so hard at a football match especially since it's his fault there was so much stoppage time due to his time wasting and I've never heard the home fans sing so loudly for an opposition player There's only one Craig Gordon maybe he had money on Celtic to win the title since Paddy Power are now paying out on Celtic after today's win :P the Celtic goals
Stocka Posted November 5, 2006 Author Posted November 5, 2006 That was such a painful match to watch, in many ways. 10 points behind United now
Platty Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 HAHA loved the Hammers beating Arsenal! Great end, I cheered as tho i was a West Ham fan. Loved Wenger trying to fight, what a loser.
Charlie Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Haha, Rangers lost 2-1. Dundee United came back from a goal behind to record their first win of the season.
Fierce_LiNk Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 HAHA loved the Hammers beating Arsenal! Great end, I cheered as tho i was a West Ham fan. Loved Wenger trying to fight, what a loser. I only heard about it on sky sports news, afterwards. I really thought Arsenal were going to win this. I can't see them being title contenders now.
gmac Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 good on the Spurs, I know what it feels like to go a short while without a win against one of your nearest rivals, but 19 years without a home win until today is impressive :P liked Martin Tyler's statistic, last time Spurs beat Chelsea at home Aaron Lennon was only 4 months old
Fierce_LiNk Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 The Gods are with Man United this weekend. Arsenal AND Chelsea both losing?! This is going to be a pretty interesting season.
Babooo Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Yeh its been a good weekend for Premiership action but not for me.....I'm a gooner. Can't believe we lost to West Ham...I was so confident about this team that Wenger has built and today just proved that they are not ready to be title contenders...not yet anyway. Disappointing.
Fierce_LiNk Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 What exactly did happen between Pardew and Wenger? On skysports, it said something along the lines that Pardew was celebrating the goal right infront of Wenger, and then this in turn annoyed him. Is this accurate? I'd say no, as there seems to be more to it than that.
Babooo Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Some people are saying that not only did Pardew celebrate the goal in Wenger's face, but APPARENTLY he said something to him as well.....tbh I have no idea but if someone pissed me off when I'm already stressed then I would have lashed out at as well.

Thats not what Pardew said in his post match interview.
