Guest Stefkov Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 im doing that anyway, just waiting for the Wii to come now. Live is the best online experience ever.
arnold Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 I never did like Microsoft when they brought the Xbnox out jsut thoughti t was another cash in for billy boy, but the 360 is diffrent to me for some reason, I dunno what it is, around last year I started liking the Xbox a little bit, still a Ninendo fanboy by heart, but there were a few games out on the Box that I liked the look of, and then th 360 has some pretty nice games ocming out dead rising being my fave next to Rumble Roses and Stubbs (Xbox game i knwo but I think it's on the emulator not sure) I've been thinknig heavily on getting a 360 as a second console I won't get a lot of games for it jsut a couple here and there that take my intrest and maybe bash on Live as wel lthe arcade sounds pretty cool until the Wii comes out it'll be my main console I buy and play, the games coming out for it have blown me away, I knew they would when it was announced way back when, and then the controller blew me away even mroe and this E3 Nintendo stole it for me, I need a Wii now and I'll proberbly have a 360 by it's side at somepoint. Hope some of that made sense to someone out there ^^:
Atomic Boo Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 What would be quality if microsoft joined nintendo in videogames creating and the company name stayed as nintendo. but that wont happen. It was also microsoft that payed comliments to the DS backing the handeld. Strange. MS must hate sony or something. Stick to MP3 players
Shino Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 I don't know if i would like microsoft to have control of another market, even if it helped nintendoon the way.
mario114 Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Game station is taking pre-orders of the ps3, saying they will only stock the 60gb version, at a price of £425, meaning a 360 and wii could be got for the same price.
Mundi Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 This is coming from the man that said: "I think Nintendo has a very important place in videogames, it always announces things like introducing videogames to five million five-year-olds every year. Which is fine - Sony and ourselves will fight for them when they're 12 and we'll take it from there thank you very much.

Gotta love the marketing flame wars Microsoft and Sony make.

Jesus!! £425 is about €624!! I thought Sony said they would sell for €599 in Europe???
conzer16 Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Hmmmm maybe but that would be an exceedingly low rate of tax, only about 4%. I wonder is the €599 what Sony sell the console to retailers at then they mark it up 20 quid for themselves.
Charlie Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Does it still have to be taxed here though? Yeah, we'll have to pay VAT on top of doubt, no doubt GameStation will have said the price is subject to change. Edit: Yeah, they did...
KingJoe Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 That's brilliant ! "PS3 available 14th of November for £425!(price and release date subject to change)"
