djamb3 Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 This rumour just apeared in the ign forum: There is a game being developed for the X-box by a small upstart development studio.. this is their first game.. word has it that the development of the X-box version just reached final Beta.. rumor also has it that the development team has decided to make a Nintendo REVOLUTION version of this game for a few reasons, the revolutions capabilitys are similar of that for the X-box, more powerful of course, but similar, so it would not take long at all to port the title with graphical enhancements, possibly even in playable demo form at E3,the revolution is an attractive platform because this is a new development house, and they dont have the resources needed to create a PS3 or 360 version because of the development cost and enherent risk involved. In the game the main character is an angel who weilds a sword. Rumor has it that the character movement will be handled by the anolog attachment while the attacks will be based on real time hand swinging movement interperted by the Revmote. Times changing and the slip of the tounge in this opressive world could land you death. But the screenshots look kack. It looks like one of those trawling RPGs that are good at stealing time and giving little to nothing back. Not my sort of thing.

Even if the specs are real just because XBOX and Rev have similar CPU clockspeeds doesn't mean that ports are that simple to make. Not saying ports would be a bad thing, quite the opposite, but this just seems bogus.
ndreamer Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 yeah ign should have took arround first the xbox 360 even has direct ports from the orginal xbox (battle field) comes to mind. the game looks okay not sure how it whould play it doesnt look like a survivial game shes got a ton of weapons.

Yeah thats what i was thinking... theres a very fine line between eerie and just plain old dindgy boring ... and at the moment it seems to be dindgy/bland with no atmosphere to speak of. Tho music can do wonders for atmosphere!
