Mokong Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Seeing as people are posting screen of good deals more MP2 I thought I'd join in Now that is a deal! http://www.gamestation.co.uk/product.asp?id=101228716855367 Does anyone else find it weird that in the screen a Used game costs more than a New game?
Kurtle Squad Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 What's your beef with Media Player? Yeh...WTF!?!?....I've never had any problems with it:wtf:
ShadowV7 Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 I havn't either I use Media Player all the time.
Ten10 Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 I want the same to happen to tales. I said to a friend I would buy her it for her Birthday, but I don't really like her that much to be willing to pay 30 quid all over again.
ShadowV7 Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 You could maybe find it cheaper somewhere else.If you get her it she'll like you a lot more
Atomic Boo Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 I preferred prime, but loved the second as well. You really should keep playing at them both as its very rewarding. The atmosphere created was great, brilliant writing for scans, when you find a dead space pirate and see how it was brutally murdered. I could go on all day...
... Posted April 16, 2006 Author Posted April 16, 2006 I was playing Metroid Prime today on Hard Mode. Truly wonderful game. I will get 2 sometime, I'll keep an eye out for it. The idea of the two worlds isn't very appealing to me either, TBH. I don't mind backtracking at all (I actually love it, the sense of exploring is better than going from A to B like in, say, RE4), but doing it twice seems a bit much... This coming week I should receive Hitman 2 so I'll be a bit busy. I'll worry about MP2 later.
Atomic Boo Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 nah, even though hitman is a good game you should play echoes. when i first got the screw attack (great name!) it was really hard to use it at first and was in that room for a good few hours! it kind of takes the point out of the grapple beam as well which is stupid, but i guess screw attack cant really do sharp corners or really long gaps. shame there arent any though
ShadowV7 Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 No point in player's choice because it won't sell well, especially with shops getting rid of cube stock.
Atomic Boo Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 i know apparently the cube is being sold at any price the market wants to, they could do it for a penny (but that would mean the sellers are mental)
K-project Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 No point in player's choice because it won't sell well, especially with shops getting rid of cube stock. No point in Player's Choice because a load of sad Nintendo die-hards would only shun it anyway! Honestly, and I'm not referring to the good folk on this site, but I read on another forum how they refused to buy Player's Choice games because they were a different colour on the spine and didn't match! There were a few people who felt this way, and they became - most vocal! - when challenged. WTF?? I don't care whether the spine "matches" or not, if it's a good price, it gets bought. It's this type of attitude that ensures GC games are often the most expensive when it comes to second hand titles. I have loads of Player's Choice titles.
Ten10 Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 I brought the first metroid prime on players choice, yeah it doesn't match but hey at least it stands out if I'm trying to find it.
... Posted April 18, 2006 Author Posted April 18, 2006 I have the Metroid Prime Player's Choice too. Also Mario Sunshine.
Babooo Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 You gotta admit that the players choice boxes do look crap. Actually thinking about the PS2 and xbox, their classics or platinum boxes look pretty shit too. Oh well.

Actually...I feel that way about Players Choice games...You can always get the game cheap 2nd hand once Players Choice comes out anyway...
ShadowV7 Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 I feel taht away aswell,i'd prefer to have the original than the player's choice.
pedrocasilva Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 I feel taht away aswell,i'd prefer to have the original than the player's choice.me too, i'd prefer a sticker over it saying it's player choice than a stupid platinum cover that washes away the artwork :/
ShadowV7 Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 Only Players Choice I have is Metroid Prime and that was from Nintendo's Star Catalogue.
Sabre Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Prime is my only Player's Choice game, i had the original on release but back then I didnt have a Job, didnt like the game much, and sold it so i could get Zelda. Later when i had money i got it again and finished it.
Calibur Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 I also liked Prime compaired to Prime 2. I've had Prime 2 since luanch and Ive only reciently gotten around to playing it now. Dunno why. Weird I guess.
ndreamer Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 videogameplus.ca has it for (35.48AUD) ($26.37US) got it with metroid fusion & hunters a few weeks ago. here the game is still full price.
