jayseven Posted May 1 Posted May 1 I just bought (and ate) an all-day breakfast sandwich from Sainsbury's, and it made me unconsolably mad. Thoughts; - The bread was thinner - The bread was smaller - The sausage was smaller - There was one less sausage - The price was 25% more than last year when I bought one I assume we have all seen this sort of thing in one way or another for a while now. Domino's Pizza slowly removing one pepperoni per slice over the years is another one that springs to mind. Of course, the toblerone fiasco was national news - but are there any examples that have directly impacted your quality of life, as this sandwich has done to mine?
Hero-of-Time Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Jaffa Cakes. Things are absolutely tiny now. The new cherry flavour makes up for the disappointment though. 12 minutes ago, darksnowman said: Taz Bars, Freddos, Fudges... Crazy how small and thin they are now. I bought a pack of 5 the other week and couldn't believe it.
Cube Posted May 1 Posted May 1 I made a roast using of a pack of 2.5kg potatoes (roasties and mash) and found I had none left over. I then realised that the pack had changed size to 2kg. Same price.
