Uncharted Remastered Trilogy (Unconfirmed)

While these remasters can be a great way to catch up, I do think we are seeing way too many of them lately. Surely it'd be more preferable for these developers creating them to be working on new games instead? Whether that be aiding with the development of Uncharted 4, for example, or on their own seperate projects?

Can't say yet as we don't know who is working on this (or if it's even real!) but a lot of these remasters are sourced out to other development companies so they wouldn't be working on the new titles and while they could just be working on their own stuff, some of them simply specialise in this kind of work. Not every developer can afford to work on their own titles all the time.

Look, I'm the biggest Batman fan but city is proof that bigger is not better. Asylum was brilliant. Intense, cramped and claustrophobic. City was a massive fetch quest in a bunch of random locations that kind of for together.

Fair play if you liked it but it was less Batman and more a generic vigilantly game to me.

I never played Asylum because I was a poverty Nintendo console owner solely.

I loved City. It helped that in my head I imagined this was Batman Begins the game, or something. I thought it was awesome. I liked how there were several different stories going on at once. Would kill for moar of that.

As for this, this is probably one of the HD-re-releases that actually makes the most sense. It means that the entire series will be playable on one system, which is how it should be. I felt the same way when Metroid Prime Trilogy came out.

Yeah but it was on WiiU, and you could play it with the WiiU controllorang, so it was good. I can comfortably say it was good on PS3 and 360 because we have it on the Nintendos anyway, so it dilutes my respekts to those systems.

I have no interest in Bloodborne because I am a poo.

What's that got to do with anything anyones talking about? I thought you'd stopped being a childish prick?

I wonder why I don't post on these boards... pretty unbearable place to come if you don't agree with everyone... I know there's a real defensive attitude from certain fans, but it's turning into attack very quickly now.

I'll be buying this as I'm interested in Uncharted 4 but have never had to opportunity to play the predecessors.

And why moan about remasters being released? There's still more than enough new games being released, in fact there's too many. I'm a student and don't have enough time to play them all.

Asylum was great. I thought City was even better. One of the very few open world games I've liked!

I think I'd enjoy it more now if I went back to it after playing Shadow of Mordor. I liked the combat in Arkham City but I struggled at times and it didn't really click for me in a lot of ways. Shadow of Mordor had an almost identical system and I pretty much mastered it, so I'd like to go back to it.

Can't wait to play Asylum for the first time when that comes out. I'm going to go through all three and I'll love every second of it.

Asylum is stunning. It is THE Batman game. City is just okay. It's Batman themed...it lacks spirit.

That's not Batman, Batman is swooping through the City skyline stopping crime... which is what City was.

Granted, as a game, I enjoyed Asylum more but I loved City too!

Damn right I am! :yay:

First God of War 3, now this.

I love my PS4.

Really looking forward to playing this series for the first time.

I found them overrated and a bit easy... they are good but not as much as is touted. You'll enjoy them for sure though given how much you liked The Last of Us.

Batman is a bit of both. He's a brawler, a genius and a detective all in one.

I found Arkham City claustrophobic at times. One moment you're flinging across the city, but then the next you're in an alleyway fighting enemies from all sides or are inside a building sneaking up on your prey. I thought it had a great mixture of everything. For me, they got all of the components right.

I need to play Asylum, too, though. Not too fussed about Origins as I hear it's hit and miss.

Batman doesn't swoop, he stalks. That whole zip and glide mechanic is totally un-Batman. Asylum was like something out of the Court of Owls arc.
