Retro_Link Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 (edited) 3D Adventure-Collectathon game. Looking to bring it out on Steam, but also want to give it a Wii U release because it's their target audience for the genre and because it's been influenced by 3D Mario, Zelda, Banjo Kazooie, DK64 etc... The Project Some scary ass gameplay... Rain demo More video's of the game can be found on this youtube page: http://www.youtube.com/user/MechaBowser/videos Edited January 27, 2014 by Retro_Link
tapedeck Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Looks the business, evoking an N64-era atmosphere for me. Have been keeping an eye on this. Thanks for reminding me.
The Peeps Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Kickstarter over, already greenlit on steam... this is a perfect time to find out about this game Can't wait!
Rummy Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Have folks gotten their hands on this already? I'm sure I saw someone here mention having recieved something from the Kickstarter... Good to know it's a Wii U release - was it always planned to be or was it a stretch/funding goal for it? Can't actually watch the vids atm(have seen one before) so I'll check it out some more this eve!

f00had Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Looks pretty nice, they sold me at Moustache Girl When's it due?
Goron_3 Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 New trailer.. They've clearly played Mario 64, Sunshine and Wind Waker then! Love it.
Retro_Link Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Looks like it's coming along nicely! and still early in development.
are1981 Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 This game looks so incredibly good! I'll probably buy it!
Rummy Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 (edited) They've clearly played Mario 64, Sunshine and Wind Waker then! Love it. What a fantastic summation. Looks like a total tribute/imitation of the good aspects of all those titles(throw in a bit of BanjoK/DK64 too). Whilst I've grown out of that sort of game just because I'm after more fresh and new experiences - I'll be interested to see how this game plays out in the end because it does look a bit bloody lovely! EDIT: Interesting I see it's not actually yet confirmed for Wii U - this is where Nintendo need to improve, work hard and get these guys on board, help make getting their game to Wii U as easy as possible then push the crap out of it too. Agreed in a way...but what's in it for Nintendo? It's a competitor to their own software...not that it matters in some respects because Nintendo games will always sell...I just feel they think the leg work is not worth it, when clearly it is to increase the platforms library.

Fostering new talent? Being the guys that broke them? It's somewhat a tribute, that doesn't really compete so much with current games. A lot of Wii U owners are staunch and long term Nintendo fans, people who would have played and probably loved these sorts of games - it might sell very well! A successful game that's a Wii U exclusive(console wise) is a powerful thing imo - can only do well to raise it's profile, whilst also expanding the library. What would the cost be to Nintendo? I'm more than sure they'd at least recoup it.
Goron_3 Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 This game MUST find its way to a Nintendo console. It's clearly inspired by Nintendo games and it could lead the way to future collabs. Do eettt Nintendo.
Retro_Link Posted May 17, 2014 Author Posted May 17, 2014 If you watch the first video in the thread, 1 minute in they even show all their Nintendo influences. Nintendo would definitely be these guys first choice, and Nintendo should recognise them.
