Hero-of-Time Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Microsoft have just announced this for the Xbox One. The game will include 4-player co-op for the first time and SmartGlass compatibility. Legends will feature an online Albion world, Microsoft said, where you can once again choose to play as a hero or villain.
Cube Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 It's designed for four-player co-op. Each hero has different skills: on-stage, Lionhead showed a Prince Charming-alike who's nimble with a sword, an archer whom you play from a third-person-shooter viewpoint, a female barbarian sort with a Yorkshire accent, a magic user whose spells slow enemies to a standstill. Here's the kicker, though: there's another player, who controls the villain, viewing the map from a top-down perspective and placing enemies, traps, ambushes and more for the four heroes to overcome. So some kind of mixture between a MOBA and a tower defence game. It also sounds like the game would be much better on the Wii U.
Agent Gibbs Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 oh that sounds terrible, further watering down of a series that started out so good

Jimbob Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 I'm not expecting anything much from this, cheers Lionhead and Microsoft for watering down such a great gaming franchise. At least Anniversary is coming this holiday season.
