Usually I buy at least good - and he's played like crap in the friendlies I've had, I think because of the compat - so how long does it take for a fair to go to a good / excellent, assuming that I play him most games? Also when your team is losing players with a red heart will perform 3% better than those without. Looking up on compatibility and xpert suggests it changes with each game and the change is dependant upon the length of the season. Basically it means no matter how long your season is it makes no difference to player changes. You can't have a massive season and then massive DVs because of it.
