Lens of Truth Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 I didn't know there would be Skyfall levels. I was hoping the film would get its own dedicated game - it could be great! Shame that from most accounts Legends is poor.
Tamazoid Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-12-07-james-bond-developer-eurocom-makes-remaining-staff-redundant-ceases-trading Well it's done. One mediocre game killed an underrated developer. RIP Eurocom, you will be missed.
Cube Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Well it's done. One mediocre game killed an underrated developer. RIP Eurocom, you will be missed. Just like Factor 5 and Free Radical.
Fierce_LiNk Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Such a shame. It's never nice to see people lose their jobs, particularly with this industry. Goldeneye's remake really surprised me and was excellent to play through.
Wii Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 WTF? That's really shitty. I thought Goldeneye Reloaded and Dead Space Extraction were great games. Hopefully the employees will be snapped up. Horrible time of year to lose your job. Would they have got redundancy payment?
Hogge Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Just like Factor 5 and Free Radical. And Bizarre Creations.
Cube Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 And Bizarre Creations. Well, after PGR4 they did The Club, Blur and 007: Blood Stone (with some Geometry Wars in between). So it was three mediocre titles.

Ah come on, Blur was actually a lot of fun and Blood Stone was at least okay, didnt think much of the Club or Geometry Wars though.
Cube Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Blur was a lot of fun for the first beta week. Then they made some quite significant changes which removed most of the tactical stuff. I couldn't play it after that.
canand Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Would I still be able to get this game for Wii U?
Magnus Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Well, they don't burn every copy of a game when the developer shuts down, so yes.
canand Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Well, they don't burn every copy of a game when the developer shuts down, so yes. There is no release date for it yet
Magnus Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 (edited) Wikipedia says December 7th, so I just assumed that was correct. Anyway, a developer shutting down wouldn't impact the release of a finished game as long as the publisher is still around. Edit: Oh, I see what you're saying - that they may have shut down the studio before they finished work on the Wii U version. I wouldn't worry yet. Edited December 11, 2012 by Magnus
