Why did they skip Budokai 2? And why not have Super DBZ instead of the original Budokai if they could only fit 2 games on the disc? If it has online then I'll be getting this just for Budokai 3

Firstly I think it's because it was certainly the weakest of the original trilogy, same vein yet inferior to the sequel, secondly it's Budokai HD Collection, so naturally Super Dragonball Z wouldn't have been included. The original DBZ Budokai captured the story best of any Dragonball Z game cutscene wise I've played (And I've played a lot of them) so it's nice to see that included Edited July 5, 2012 by Emerald Emblem
Ike Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 At least Budokai 2 did something different with the story by having the board game. 3 is far superior to 1 though almost to the point that it's not worth playing 1.
Ike Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Ah just found the music will be replaced due to the whole Kenji Yamamoto debarcle. Hope that doesn't include the openings, can't remember if he did those though. The Kinect game has the new Episode of Bardock anime as well just to make people buy it :P
