Just a reminder guys the draw for the last 16 is today at

Does anyone have any suggestions for a better chatroom?

 

Scratch that, its gonna be 8:45pm latest. Due to both train and signal failure, sorry for the delay. As soon as I get home, ill go live.

To be fair to Flink, he wouldn't have had a chance to set his tactics anyway, due to my bro only accepting the game at about midnight. Gave Flink no prep time at all.

Yeah...I didn't really have time to set anything up as I was at work. I changed my default team a few days before that before I even sent the request, which was only a guide. So, that was the team he played against. Hence why there were no players marked, no subs, etc. I figured he might've forgot to accept the request, so didn't even know if the game would go ahead.

 

Aw well. Good luck to him in the next round.

At least it was only a friendly anyway, so you might get him in the official cup draw :P that would be good chance for revenge :)

Having just finished loading his own groceries into his car, Kingsley Dibble saw a little old lady struggling to carry her shopping to her car and decided to help her, even though he knew it would make him late for training. Judging on his last post, probably not! I've sent him a message on xpert so hopefully he'll see it next time he logs in, tis just a case of if he does it in time!

 

If you see this @Fierce_LiNk, I should be able to accept it pretty quickly as I'll check every now & then tonight and first thing tomorrow morning, I'll also be able to check at lunch time before kick-off so don't worry if it gets close, we both should still have time to set tactics so 'friendly request' away!

Second Round

 

Real Peeps

Silverdale Hotpot

 

Real Peeps take on Silverdale in what looks on paper a one sided contest. Silverdale are the reigning champions and demolished their competition in the first round. Silverdale outmatch Peeps all over the pitch, however the two sides have never played each other and this may work to Peeps advantage. Peeps need to keep chances low and the pressure on or Silverdale will run riot.

 

Predicted score: Real Peeps 1-3 Silverdale Hotpot

 

Leeds M.O.T

Comerade Co-op

 

Co-op caused a shock when they knocked out Mcoys Sons and they are promoted as champions to the Elite League for the first time this season. However Leeds record against them is 6 wins to 0. Leeds have a squad with more talent but Co-op have more choice in their selection. The money would be favouring Leeds but I could see a draw with Co-op edging chances.

Baggies vs Madpool is a tie that many neutrals are looking forward to. Baggies have been promoted this season while Madpool finished an on off season in 3rd. They will be considered red hot faves and it will be a shock if DuD beat them. Madpool have star quality that Baggies are lacking but the Baggies are at home.

Andy All Stars

AC Elites

 

This tie is an intriguing one, the All Stars are a brand new team and will want to make their mark before their first season. They face the AC Elites who were promoted in their first season in the lower league. This could be a very tense affair as the Elites squad will be fatigued but are technically better than the All Stars. It will be close to call we see Elites pulling away with their greater experience.

Dragooooo

Intergalactico Stars

Dragooooo had their breakthrough this season as they won the league after a season long battle against multiple teams. For Inter the lower league is a memory as they established themselves as a fully fledged Elite league team. Dragooooo are at home but Inter will certainly be the favorites to win this. We think their strong team ethic and skill will ensure the cup holders get through to the next round but not without a test.

 

Dragooooo 1-3 Intergalactico Stars

 

Coloccini FC

Eight United

 

Coloccini won lots of plaudits this season, they played an attacking style of football and netted a lot of goals and finished 6th in their first season. However they face another side whose rise from the lower leagues is now a mere memory. Eights United will be looking to march on with their streamlined highly skilled squad. This will be a good test for Coloccini before the next season but surely this can be nothing but an Eights victory?

This is an interesting tie, Rising Phoenix had a poor season but got some shock results that altered the title race. Bubbles were promoted but failed to win the middle league title after being in the lead for so long. Rising Phoenix have a strong squad and the home advantage but Bubbles will be up for a fight. This could be the most exciting match of this tie.
