Cube Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 It's been announced for Europe on the 13th June, both digital and retail. I loved the demo, and Eurogamer gave the Japanese version a 9/10.
S.C.G Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Yes! so much... Day 1 purchase. Ever since @Aimless originally posted about this making me aware of this title I thought to myself 'if this gets released over here then this will be my first *must have* PSV title' so this news is most pleasing.
Aimless Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Seems a bit late considering the game is ostensibly ready to go; it's out in Japan, there are English demos doing the rounds and the voice acting is gibberish anyway. I get that Sony want to do their part in avoiding a software drought, put releasing so close to E3 comes with a strong chance of it being overlooked by the press. Anyway, this game is part of the reason I bought a Vita in the first place, so obviously I'll be picking it up.
Cube Posted February 29, 2012 Author Posted February 29, 2012 English demos?!?! Where? There were English demos at the various events.
Daft Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 I want to know as little about this game as possible before I play it. No videos or demos for me. I wonder what's out in April and May. We've got Resistance out the end of this month. Hopefully that'll be good.
Debug Mode Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Played the demo a couple of times in Game, definitely going to buy this whenever I get around to purchasing a Vita. I'm also intrigued about the definition of 'launch period' though, how long does that usually run? If I was asked by some one, I'd guess a month or two, not four months, June seems a little late.
Daft Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 I always assumed a launch period was a yearly quarter.

Yah it's like you said they want to avoid a software drought pure and simple get it out at the beginning of the summer I guess, Infamous 2 didn't do so bad last year and that was released durin E3 guess that was a pre-existing franchise. I just think they want to give Resistance plenty of space.
dazzybee Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Does Resistance have multiplayer? A great FPS on a handheld would be brilliant! Is there a release schedule for the next few months?
Daft Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 I think next month Mortal Kombat, Persona 4, Ninja Gaiden and Resistance are the big games out.
dazzybee Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Bloody hell I'd be up for picking 3 of them up... Hope mortal kombat is a great version!
