Beverage Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Splendid idea, dazzy! 'Tis just that I don't own a 3DS so perhaps you all can bring your best games to let me try them out, if I likey then alrighty (bring SSFlV, Ridge Racer/Asphalt, and PES)
Hero-of-Time Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 I asked my mate if he fancied going and he's up for it so if I can grab some tickets on Monday then i'll be there! I don't get in from work until 2 in the afternoon on Monday, i'm just hoping they don't sell out by then...
The Peeps Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 I'm off work on Monday. Definitely going to get tickets even though I'll end up going on my own. Any N-Europers want to meet up? :p
yesteryeargames Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 (edited) Im goin see you guys there i hope Edited August 5, 2011 by yesteryeargames
somme Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Don't know if this has been posted but according to ticketmaster there seem to be two types of tickets: £38.50 (£33.75 Ticket + £4.75 Fees) £110.50 (£100.00 Ticket + £10.50 Fees)
david.dakota Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 £110.50 (£100.00 Ticket + £10.50 Fees) Exclusive VIP tickets are available at the £100.00 price on a first come, first serve basis. This package is for the ultimate Zelda fan and includes premium orchestra section seating plus a post-concert Meet and Greet, autograph session and photo opportunity with the stars of the show and exclusive memorabilia This could be tempting; do we know if significant Nintendo personnel are due to attend?
yesteryeargames Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 (edited) If its shiggsy or any other major zelda producer i will buy a £100 ticket Edited August 6, 2011 by yesteryeargames
EEVILMURRAY Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 I would like to hear about this merchandise also. Paying £60 extra best give some sexy stuff.
The Peeps Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 I am also intrigued by the merchandise. It'd have to be something special for me to pay that much money though.
Magnus Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 This being Nintendo, I expect a folded-up poster and a Super Mario Sunshine wallpaper.
EEVILMURRAY Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 FUCK IT. ZELDA HAS GIVEN ME ENOUGH PLEASURE OVER THE YEARS. VIP it shall be.
Beverage Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 FUCK IT. ZELDA HAS GIVEN ME ENOUGH PLEASURE OVER THE YEARS. VIP it shall be. LOL yeah that's the one! You may as well play big or there's no point in playing at all!!
EEVILMURRAY Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Work will have to screw itself since I'll won't be able to work on that Tuesday. I've got ample time to tell them anyway.
Guy Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 (edited) Shame there's barely any information about these VIP tickets though. I'd like to know what I'm spending £100 on before buying. Regardless, I'm not really in a position to lay down that kinda money at the moment which is kind of a shame. Seriously tempted though. Faith can be and is often rewarded. yesteryeargames Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 whats the hell club nintendo special offer? how do you get those tickets
Guy Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Nintendo have been awful about notifying people what this event is all about. There are VIP tickets, Club Nintendo special offer tickets. No real information about either of these. Booked some nice standard tickets. My ears are ready.
somme Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 (edited) Got some VIP tickets, they went pretty quickly so here's hoping they're actually quite VIP. Edited August 8, 2011 by somme
yesteryeargames Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 there was no way of usuing the club nintendo code, what a con
EEVILMURRAY Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 What seats did people get then? I know Marti and I are one row apart but on either sides.
somme Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Row K Looked like a nice view from there amazingly small map, that didnt enlarge that much!
Guy Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 All Club Nintendo members got was some kind of promotional discount, apparently. 15% off which is actually fairly sweet. Or it would have been if ANYONE WAS TOLD ABOUT IT. Still, they all seem to be sold out now. That was over faster than the end battle with Ganon in Ocarina of Time. Now we're all gonna get there, excited with our bodies ready and they'll just play a bunch of freaking midi files. Tottenham riots ensue.
