Shorty Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Are you specifically talking about registered MMO type games, or anything? If anything, Desktop Tower Defense - and its Facebook counterpart Desktop Defender - have stolen many hours of my life.
Shorty Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 But that's a steam game And right they should rave, it's outstanding. You say that as though you haven't played it. You must correct this greivous error!
Cube Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 You must correct this greivous error! Simply put: It's not my kind of game.
Ryuk Posted January 21, 2011 Author Posted January 21, 2011 nah its not limited to MMO's although thats what i mainly play in web broswers.
Debug Mode Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Zwok! I've been playing for years and I still find myself going online every now and then thanks to the fact it's like Worms but with snowballs (and certain unlock able weapons that turn out to be bat shit insane)
Rummy Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Only one I play other than flash games and whatnot is probably runescape, I've not seen a lot of well fledged browser only games.
Shorty Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Simply put: It's not my kind of game. While looking for the demo version to try and sway you, I found that you were actually right, there is a web browser version! http://www.popcap.com/games/free/pvz It's not my kind of game either, normally, but you should really give it a few minutes of your time, just to make sure. Otherwise you might miss out on a real gem
nightwolf Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 But that's a steam game And right they should rave, it's outstanding. You say that as though you haven't played it. You must correct this greivous error! I was wondering if this was good during the Steam sale, I should have asked really, might buy it for my desktop on Monday.
flameboy Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Blush is one browser based game I've been playing a lot posted about it in indie thread the other day, uses unity player plug in. It looks gorgeous and is amazing, totally unlike anything out there, guess ecco the dolphin comparisons are there to be made!
