flameboy Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 ok so I've had no internet and went round to my dads to watch the press conferences but missed this and its the first thing I've watched and man it looks awesome! wonder if its worth picking up the original from somewhere?
jayseven Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 I loved playing the original -- this and vigilante 8 were awesome. For a moment I thought Twisted Metal here would try and do a Blast-Corps style game when they mentioned "Twisted Metal Nuke"... if they did then I'd have to buy a PS3 just for this game.
Daft Posted June 23, 2010 Author Posted June 23, 2010 Really can't wait for this and inFamous 2. With all the games coming out in 2011...well, my wallet is going to hurt.
dwarf Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 I have my doubts about this, the gameplay is doing nothing for me at the moment.
flameboy Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 I have my doubts about this, the gameplay is doing nothing for me at the moment. I kinda get where your coming from as there is nothing interesting about it stands out or looks like it offers variety
Pit-Jr Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 The TM games have always been rather homely-looking but theres something addictive about the gameplay once you get started. Loved TM2 and Black
Daft Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Not to mention it looks pretty good for Pre-alpha code. I love the bit in the trailer where the car flies down the ally. The driving looks really tight and it just looks crazy - especially driving through that mansion.
flameboy Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 I've just picked up Twisted Metal Head On on the PSP.
James McGeachie Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Not feeling a huge amount of personality or familiarity from this title... Saying that, I've never played Twisted Metal 3 or Black. I don't know what route the franchise really took after Twisted Metal 2. All I know is that other than "car combat" I'm not seeing much of what I liked about the originals in this so far.
Wesley Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I've never played a Twisted Metal game and this looks cool... but I dunno if I'd enjoy car combat. See how it comes along seeing as it's a way off yet.
DuD Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Awesome I used to love Twisted Metal 2 (i think it was subtitled World Tour) back on the PS1. It was the only game i played at one point... until a dirty great scratch cruely killed the disk
flameboy Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Hopefully PSP version will trurn up at my door step today
