Caris Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 I made this wallpaper but I don't know how to get the image perfectly centre, can someone tell me how? I thought it would look go with the image to the side but it looks rubbish, peace.
Ashley Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 I suppose you could use the rectangle selection tool, set it to 840x525 (1/4 of the total size) and just line it up to one of the corners which will then give you the exact middle.
Eenuh Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 If you want to find out the middle of the images, you should normally be able to set rulers in Photoshop (go to View > Rulers). From there you can drag a guideline toward the middle of the image. Or is this not what you're asking?
Goafer Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Here you go: I did it the way Eenuh suggested BTW. Basically make sure rulers are visible, then drag one to the centre (there is measurments along the top and side). Then drag the image (I used cut and paste to seperate it) to the centre using the ruler as a guide.
RedShell Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Looks like you're all sorted now, but just in case anyone wants to know the fastest and easiest way to center stuff in Photoshop... It only takes 3 clicks. Just make sure you have the layer you want to center selected, then do the following: : peace:
Wesley Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Link. I'll say it again in excitement. Link!
