How much for ICO?

It's £47.99 buy it now, may seem alot but i'm going by the other buy it nows on ebay which range from £45-£60.

I won't be going much lower though, i'd rather keep it! haha

Oh right I didn't know we were talking ridiculous prices. You can keep it.

No need to be rude you idiot, not my fault you didn't research on how rare the first-edition of it is. How much you want it for? £20? id rather keep it anyway.

Well I didn't know there was such a thing as a first edition, and most auctions for the 'standard' game end at £25 on eBay, I have tried to buy a copy but even at that price point I'm not convinced.

Buy it now there for £17 (not complete with stuff) or £31 with everything.

I'm just surprised anyone would pay that much for a ps2 game especially when there's better offers out there. This board is usually competitive with prices.

Firstly you've linked me to Shadow Of The Colossus and not ICO. You asked me how much for ICO.

ICO was first released in quite small quantitys with four postcards in a lovely slip-case, it was then re-released without the postcards and in a normal game case, therefore making the first edition of it, much more expensive then the re-release.

I've researched the buy it nows on Ebay and put it in at the lowest possible buy it now on Ebay! I wouldn't go much under £40 anyway! People buy games these days for £39.99 and your getting a rare one here for about the same-price, i don't see it being that expensive, but each to their own.

I lose, don't know how I confused ICO with SotC. Still, if anyone buys ICO off you here for that price then I'll uhhh... Be very surprised.

What makes this a bad deal out of interest?

*Sigh*

Sorry Owen, I've had this before - people not knowing the price of something before they slag it off. Dwarf; ICO was indeed originally a rare game, and with the postcards it is quite valuable. It's a collector's item, really.

If anyone just wants the game and doesn't care about rarity, it's probably best to pick up the second edition.

Why sell it here then? I don't see the point in trying to sell a high priced PS2 game on a Nintendo website. You're just limiting the market on a very limited appeal product.

I bet when most people looked at that they were shocked.

So no-one ever before me has advertised (note, not selling on here as i've stated there all on Ebay numorous times, therefore not limiting my market at all) a non-nintendo product?

I think you should just look elsewhere to be honest, don't know why you keep bringing up the fact it's expensive, no-one is falsing you to buy it are they?

Sorry MATtheHAT as i'm moving i need the cash for re-decoration and other stuff when i move into the new home! but thanks for your interest. :)

Owen, is the Starfy game currently on eBay too?

Nah sorry mate, that went ages ago! I'll be very cautious buying that, it's really well presented but way way way too easy, so much in fact that i thought it got rather dull very quickly...but thats just my opinion.
