Retro_Link Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Shaun White Snowboarding: Road Trip Did many on here actually buy it? I know there was a lot of negativity towards Ubisoft and the game in the run up to its launch, but that was mainly due to them releasing aweful screens of the game! Anyways, I went out and bought it not long after Christmas, and I think it's great!! Balance Board works extremely well and is really fun, it's got a good soundtrack [actual songs], and there's a great number of slopes etc... to work your way through. And after all that fuss over the visuals they're actually really nice, a great style and a really good sense of speed when your tearing down a slope ducked on your Balance Board! It's only £17.99 on play.com http://www.play.com/Games/Wii/4-/5857410/Shaun-White-Snowboarding-Road-Trip/Product.html
Tellyn Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 It's definitely on my to-buy list. As I'm being pretty successful in my backlog-clearing mission this year, and with Shaun White and Skate It being at relatively low prices, they're next on my list after the DSi.
STOOPIDDITTIES Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 I don't think a game like Opoona can be recommended enough here. I was surprised to see such a game taken outside of Japan at all. You people must buy this if you want more brilliance such as Fragile and Kizuna to be translated for us! Show that we want the niche games! Also Endless Ocean is a massively underated hidden gem which never grabbed anyones attention. No recent games come to mind other than these two. Sure something like Let's Tap will make the list eventually though... I would post videos or pictures but apparantly I haven't posted enough to do that on here yet :P
Ganepark32 Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 ^ Endless Ocean grabbed my attention. Loved playing that. It's so relaxing. Was great just to stick on to pass the time as there was always something to go and explore. And the soundtrack courtesy of Hayley Westerna was sublime, helping to immerse you into the game. I lost many an hour in the game because of these very reasons. Need to track down a copy again because I miss playing it and after playing Wild Earth African Safari I just have the urge to play it.

Fierce_LiNk Posted April 20, 2009 Author Posted April 20, 2009 Speaking of picking up hidden gems, I've bought Dewey's Adventure and de Blob today. Student Loan, woooooooooo. Madworld, you're next!
