Beast Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 OK guys, I can't think of what it could be but I can't change my MSN name for some reason. It just stays as the last name I had. I wanted to change it today and it did but as soon as I go off and back online, it changes back to the name I had before and not the new one. Does anyone know what this could be? And has anyone else had this problem. By the way, I dunno whether it helps but I have the newest MSN messenger. Thanks in advance

Jimbob Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Try uninstalling it and download it again. That would be the best solution i can advise as well. I had a similar problem with MSN, and re-installing it corrected the problem.

Sheikah Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 This happened to me before, and I can't quite remember how I did it. I think I may have signed in on Windows Messenger (the XP pre-installed bare bones version) and changed it that way.

I've done that and it never worked Strangely enough, I tried to change my name on my other e-mail address and it worked, it changes but with the main one I use alot, it just stays the same. Oh well, I might swap e-mail addresses and delete this account anyways. Thank you all very much for your help, I really appreciate it
