MoogleViper Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Well I'm sure we've all seen the likes of Tarrant on TV. And we've had many threads about rubbish adverts. So lets have one about funny adverts (or just generally good). Videos welcome.
Molly Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Had to be done for general goodness. p.s. the new one's not as good.
ReZourceman Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Had to be done for general goodness. p.s. the new one's not as good. Yeah, its so so so bad. Its awful. I actually like the original, but they think they can put a (worse) song on and it still be good or relevant? WTF. No. Plus they slow mo/or whatever the video....its just so bad. These are kinda related....
Molly Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Yeah, its so so so bad. Its awful. I actually like the original, but they think they can put a (worse) song on and it still be good or relevant? WTF. No. Plus they slow mo/or whatever the video....its just so bad. Agreed. The first time I saw...the first one, I pretty much squealed with delight, and that's fairly non standard dpa for an advert.
nightwolf Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 haha that advert was in the millions and was just for fun. They asked the people working at the factory whilst my dad was doing construction there, silly really. Just so people would remember it.
Slaggis Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Why do people never seem to remember one of the best adverts of the past few years, if not the best? It's just utterly mesmerizing.
triforce_keeper Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Why do people never seem to remember one of the best adverts of the past few years, if not the best? It's just utterly mesmerizing. They probably do remember, it's just, that advert doesn't pop up in there heads when they read "Funny Adverts Thread"
Roostophe Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 T_K's right. It's not funny at all. It's just brilliant.
Slaggis Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 They probably do remember, it's just, that advert doesn't pop up in there heads when they read "Funny Adverts Thread" Read moogles post. "Or generally good ones". Haggis wins.
Roostophe Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 You have a point, but the thread title... Post a funny ad and we'll say no more.
MoogleViper Posted November 16, 2008 Author Posted November 16, 2008 Read moogles post. "Or generally good ones". Haggis wins. I don't think T_K was saying that it didn't belong here, just that it doesn't pop straight into people's minds. Some more generally awesome ads.
