Daft
Anyone know where the best place to rent films and games online? What's everyone's experience with doing this? I ask because I have no rental place anywhere near me.
Shorty
I've not actually rented games online, but I've rented DVDs from lovefilm and blockbuster. They both do games as well, if you subscribe to the service. Online renting is actually a pretty good service with fast turnarounds, first class free postage provided to return the game in... I assume the games service is just as good.
Happenstance
I rent games online through Tescos Rental. Pretty good.
Daft
I was looking at LoveFilm. Know what the difference between that and Tescos? Tescos is looking the better deal as it's £1 cheaper, but I'm not sure why that is.
Happenstance
Tesos is actually part of the LoveFilm group but doesnt charge the same for some reason. I have used both LoveFilm and Tescos, its pretty much exactly the same service.

I got my car recovery through Tescos and it's just Green Flag, but loads cheaper. How does that even make sense?
Cube
I agree. Tescos seems to be able to do this sort of thing. I got my car recovery through Tescos and it's just Green Flag, but loads cheaper. How does that even make sense? They just find the right companies. In the case of Green Flag, they likely get enough profit to allow them to reduce prices. Instead of doing that, they let another company (Tescos) sell the same thing for less but under their own brand. The majority of people will likely stay with Green Flag and they get even more customers via Tescos.
Ten10
I've got a few £50 lovefilm vouchers lying around the house, so if you want to give em a shot I can pass the codes to you.
Rummy
Currently using Tesco off of some LoveFilm trial I signed up for(tho i was incredibly busy for the three free months, so didnt make the most) and then forgot to return my shit in time, then got a 360 anyway so I've kept the rentals, it's like £11 a month but allows me to rent two games at any one time and it's usually 2-3days between sending one back and getting a new one, but with two games on the go, you can overlap it nicely.
