Kirkatronics Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 I've seen a lot of people requesting certain desktops, and i think i have the answer! A thread where users can write reviews and post links to the great value Desktop PC's were all looking for. Who wants to kick off? In your review include Spec, Cost, information about it, what you think of it. Also a rating system should be used, i suggest: Hardware, Software, and and overall value rating out of 10.

This sorta seems a bit pointless, the market changes on a weekly basis and most of the info would be out of date. Most people make a seperate thread what they want advice on a new desktop anyway
nightwolf Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Not only that but people want desktops for different things. Like I need mine for gaming and high graphics, whereas somebody may only need it for office, why set one standard for all desktop/laptops?
Kirkatronics Posted September 5, 2008 Author Posted September 5, 2008 Might as well lock this then, didn't think it through.
Dyson Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Build your own or buy a Mac. Then you too can be a forum trolling fanboy : peace:
MoogleViper Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Not to mention that price would be different. However what would be useful would be a guide about buying/building PCs.
Sanchez Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Not to mention that price would be different. However what would be useful would be a guide about buying/building PCs. I guess I could make one of these and keep it updated.
MoogleViper Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 I'd do it myself but I don't know much about PCs.
nightwolf Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 I guess I could make one of these and keep it updated. It does sounds it, keep the list seperate parts, with different prices, so it's not just all high end £400 graphics cards or something
