Posted October 27, 2008 There are also loads of reports of the drums for the 360 version being broken out of the box, with Activision saying it's not their fault and the stores that the gamers have bought it from saying it isn't their fault either. I wasn't gonna get the drums, or any instruments, when I pick up my 360 copy when it comes out but I'm definitely not getting the drums with all the problems of the cymbals being broken and unable to be used. And yet many of them haven't been able to get a replacement as neither the game store or Activision are taking the blame for it. So for many, it's $200 down the drain (although as far as I am aware, the guitar and the microphone are working fine and there aren't any problems with the games, yet). Posted October 27, 2008 As I'm definitely getting both WT and RB2, I've still to sort out the issue of instruments. Microphone: If the RB1 mic works for both then there's no problem there, right? Guitar: I'd like to get the new WT one as it looks mint. Drum kit: I definitely need a new drum kit as my current one's knackered. Just need to decide on either the WT or RB2 one. Posted October 27, 2008 hmmm decisions decisions - I've currently got the PS3 full band version of GHWT on pre-order with Game online. Posted October 27, 2008 Seriously... just read the 360 review of GH:WT on IGN and you'll see why I'm now going with RB:2 for my next set of instruments... still picking up GH:WT solus though to tide me over till Rock Band, even though I'll still have plenty to play.... Posted October 28, 2008 Yeh I read it. It seems so stupid for them to have shunned many of RB's ideas in favour of others which don't work as well. Although, the Guitar Solo tour still holds up which is really all I'm interested in for this game (although wouldn't mind playing the drums to Everlong).
