Magnus Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Why would you not tell us where you got it for that price from? He did. He was very smug about it.
Hero-of-Time Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 I'm having a blast playing this. I just finished what is considered the first section of the game and already I like it more than Symphonia. I'm a big fan of Raven, even though he hasn't been in it that much. Some of the conversations and skits with him have been hilarious, especially the one where he meets Judith for the first time. I gave up on trying to get the Item Hater title as I read you can just buy the skit with points later in the game. It has made the boss fights and the special tasks you have to do so much easier.
Emerald Emblem Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 This Tales game with it's bonus objectives helped enrich the experience for me, what with your environments taking part in how the battle plays out. Knocking Zagi off the ship when chasing down Barbos or destroying the bridge controls against Barbos so he can't get reinforcements. Could realy help you out in battle.
daftada Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 In case anyone is interested, ToV is on the 360 marketplace for £19.99!! Unbelievable price for an unbelievably good game!
Shorty Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Kind of a 4 month old topic but still worth re-mentioning in case anybody missed it
Hero-of-Time Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 I'm about 25 hours in and i'm at my breaking point. The game has become very boring for me, with an endless amount of cutscenes ( which you can't skip ) and skits. The cutscenes are the most annoying as nothing really happens in them and you can't just sit back and watch them as you need to press A to get the next bit of dialogue. I've knocked the difficulty down to easy just so I can blitz the game but i'm still struggling to carry on with it. There was a topic on Gaf the other day about the length of RPGs and for me this sits in catagory of it's too long. Most people say that it takes around 50-60 hours to complete so i've still got a long way to go. I'm just hoping it picks up again...
Happenstance Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Downloaded the game yesterday and so far I really suck at the combat.
Ten10 Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Downloaded the game yesterday and so far I really suck at the combat. I learned that from the demo, just doesn't feel as smooth as Symphonia, so I just decided to leave it altogether.
Happenstance Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Im enjoying it still, I just find it annoying when I get more than one person attacking me and theres not a lot you can do
Hero-of-Time Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Mega bump! The game must have got another printing as Shopto and other outlets on ebay now have this in stock. Sure, its only £19.99 if you download it, but if you want a physical copy now's the time to snap it up.
Hero-of-Time Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Hmm. Worth buying a second copy and keeping it sealed? I was thinking the same thing yesterday but figured if they have just done another printing then they may just do another one. The price has also dropped a lot since the game got a digital release.
