gaggle64 Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 To hell with NoE and to hell their stupid slow translation department.
Hellfire Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 Anyways, this is a great stress-relief-thread. :p And no, NoE isn't located in the Seventh Gate of Hell (just had to get that frustration of my chest), but it's just frustrating to be a Nintendo fan in Europe. I own both a 360 and PS3, and I never had such feelings towards their European HQ. I just get the feeling Nintendo Europe just doesn't care. PlayStation 3 release: November 11 2006, in Japan;11 November 17, 2006 in North America; 12 March 23 2007 in Europe. Not to mention the huge amount of good PS2 games that never reach here. Odin Sphere only got a EU date yesterday! Still doesn't compare to NoE though. But I wonder, is this NoE's fault? I doubt it, I think it's Nintendo's head office that just doesn't give as much importance to Europe. So instead of insulting the folks at NoE, that probably have their hands tied, why not insult NCL? Para o caralho com a NoE e o seu departamento de tradução lento e estúpido. Fixed. Somewhat.
ShadowV7 Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 I give NoE their due, they are getting much better, that you can't deny. We're getting MK and WiiFit earlier than Americans and soon after Japan, only ones getting C64 games so far. But it's just the Brawl thing annoying me,it's a huge game and game we all* want the most and the excuses. Just say it isn't ready yet instead of translation stuff >.< *People that have souls.

gaggle64 Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 I have to confess I can't really read Portuguese. If I could, I'd probably be in NoE's translation department. Sleeping. Or playing table tennis in the lounge.

dazzybee Posted February 22, 2008 Author Posted February 22, 2008 I applaud you NoE for getting the C64 on board exclusively for the mean time, well done. The company even reserved special praise for working with NoE - they really are amazing and we are all lucky to be European....

The company even reserved special praise for working with NoE - they really are amazing and we are all lucky to be European.... Wasn't the C64 extremely popular in Europe thus the reason why Europe are getting it first? It will (supposadely) end-up on the American virtual console sometime after the European launch. I'll be very surprised if this remains a European exclusive for the Wii's lifespan. It's great to have it though!
