Posted January 9, 2010 Surely not if it's the French way of saying apostrophe? Anyway I read it the way he intended it to, so I'm clearly the most awesome here. =P

Posted January 9, 2010 I keep reading it as Roo-stoof. I really wish you'd change it back to the Villan, though.
Posted January 9, 2010 I read it as Roost-off, because Roo-stof-fee Rovers just sounds shite. its an x11 thing
Posted January 9, 2010 Clearly, as Ashley says, it should be pronounced like apostrophe. But, is that how one would pronounce 'Christophe'? I keep reading it as Roo-stoof. I really wish you'd change it back to the Villan, though. It's unoriginal, though. I'm sure there are lots of people on forums who use that name. There's even another member on here with that name. Or have the same mindset as a Brummie... Or a yam-yam, going by DuD's post. Awesome mindset, though. Only a Brummie would create a website about their home city and call it Birmingham: It's Not Shit. Posted January 10, 2010 But, is that how one would pronounce 'Christophe'? Nope. You're quite right. As long as you're happy that your user name is French.

Whereas you seem to be suggesting something more along the lines of 'Christof'. Brummies are idiots, we all know that
Posted January 10, 2010 Nope. You're quite right. As long as you're happy that your user name is French. Well, I haven't had any problem about it in the last four years. So, I'm happy. No because the 'e' is pronounced. Whereas you seem to be suggesting something more along the lines of 'Christof'. Brummies are idiots, we all know that Well, Ash, if you want to pronounce it in a way other than "Roost-off" then be my guest. Just be sure to take note of the irony in your post there. Posted February 7, 2010 Any chance of having my username restored to 'Roostophe', please? Don't know which admin decided to change it - probably Shorty - but, you know, I don't care too much. So...please?
Posted February 8, 2010 I would change it back for you but since you just accused me of something I had nothing to do with, I'm not going to bother!
Posted February 8, 2010 I was merely thinking that only two people would change my name. (Am I right in thinking mods can't?, plus Platty and Mokong wouldn't), so I apologise for pointing the finger at the one more likely to see my rage in the X11 thread. Bah. Still, name is restored. So, in the words of Paul McCartney -
Posted February 8, 2010 (edited) My I request a change to Nolan as it better fits with everything else I'm signed up with? Edit, Thanks. Edited February 9, 2010 by Nolan

Posted February 9, 2010 Then I'll say it was Modwin... *Takes out a map of Britain and places a finger on Macclesfield.* FYI, Paul McCartney also wanted to be a Paperback Writer.
Posted March 1, 2011 Thread revival! Can I have my name changed to just "Paj", please? Paj Meen Ah was a joke name I used in place of "Pashmina", when I first joined and was seeing how long it took for ReZ to realise who I was. I don't use it anywhere else, and people call me "Paj" on here anyway. Or even "Paj." with a full stop. That adds so much. k thx bai
Posted March 2, 2011 I'm going to call you Meen Ah and the Diamonds from now on to prove you wrong!

Posted March 3, 2011 So...is that a no? I'll accept "Paj!", since it stuns. Paj! is so much better and the exclamation mark really adds so much to the name too. I'd have it WITH the exclamation mark...

Posted March 3, 2011 I agree, the exclamation mark really does add to the name. When I saw it with an exclamation mark after it I read it as if I was annoyed with him and shouting his name.
