Dante Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 I'll survive I always do! =D Good to heard Raining.
nightwolf Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 You could always try going til about 6mm, that way as long as you don't wear tunnels you'd just look like you were wearing earrings.
Raining_again Posted October 4, 2008 Author Posted October 4, 2008 You could always try going til about 6mm, that way as long as you don't wear tunnels you'd just look like you were wearing earrings. Hmm Good point.
nightwolf Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 As far as I'm aware you can get to at least 12mm depending on the size and shape of your ears and still look as though you have big earrings in, I hope I can do that eventually!
Falcon_BlizZACK Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Ditched the monroe, and did this one myself!! *sad face* I dunno what it is, but I'm quickly finding I am getting extremely attracted to women with real expressive piercings... Think its just the expressive value - like there is something deeper or mysterious to it.
Letty Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Just been doing a bit o' late night piercing The blood patch is where I started piercing my tragus and decided it was too sore
nightwolf Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 The conch (at least thats what it looks like, brave woman those damn things hurt) ring looks too tight! Can you not get it changed?

Raining_again Posted November 6, 2008 Author Posted November 6, 2008 That looks rather awesome Letty XD I don't think I'd have the balls to do it myself. I can stick a needle into my flesh easy as, but through solid tissue Dunno 'bout that!
nightwolf Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 very ouch looking The skin has had a needle shoved through it, I'm not surprised. Good to hear though! I do worry, as always, braver soul than me!
nightwolf Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Does the ear heal fast? Depends on the person. For the most part, no. It can get bumps (scarring which is caused by irratation), infections, keloids (which tend to be more on black/dark skin than white). There's alot of complications just like anything similar, but as long as you look after your ears, no twisting of jewellery and wear the right jewellery, there shouldn't be much issue

I did take your advice wolfie, I took my rook out, maybe I already told you. Its uber weird not having a stud in my ear anymore - i really miss it! And the swollen lump thing in my lobe has gone down without me having to remove the studs too =) Yey

Or try the other ear. They can be fickle things piercings.

But I really loved my roooook Uber super powered immune system for the LOSE
Letty Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 In about an hour, I'm gonna perform a small surface piercing between my collar bones. I'll post pics when I'm done
spenno182 Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 just got the little 5mm tunnels in both ears, had them for quite a long time now and I wouldn't look like me without them. I'll get a tattoo one day, probably on my chest but I think i'll let myself get way more buff 1st.

Sounds sore but awesome. @spenno: gonna stretch them any more? i've thought about it, would only go 1 size up if I did. Dont want to get to a stage that when I take them out I just have a horrid hole at the bottom of my ear

Dont want to get to a stage that when I take them out I just have a horrid hole at the bottom of my ear I think once you get past 7mm or so they stop healing, and just stay that way. But then everyone's different and it depends on the elasticity of your skin
