Fresh Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 A backdrop. You know, a background. Still, why? A nice plain background would do fine. They trying to make him out to be some greek god or something.
Roostophe Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 sponsored by Nike now?? Yep, Villa and Fulham are now sponsored by Nike.

Ramar Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Just back from Berlin, 7 days away with only a newspaper (on 3 days) and crappy BBC World and CNN to satisfy transfer news is hell. ;_; Might upload some pics of the Olympiastadion later.
Max Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 apparently this voronin dude is a class act for liverpool, thats 2 games hes prefoemed top class in and outshined torres.
Noodleman Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Given that Torres has only played one match for Liverpool and that was as a sub in 63rd minute replacing Voronin. Thats probably to be expected.
BlueStar Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Obafemi Martins has turned down a £13m move to Arsenal to stay at Newcastle
Ramar Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Obafemi Martins has turned down a £13m move to Arsenal to stay at Newcastle Any source or linkage to read over.
Noodleman Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 It was a small report in the Daily Express, with no quotes from anybody. Let alone a quote mentioning a bid has even been made. Basicaly its bollocks.
BlueStar Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Plenty of papers have already reported the £13m offer was in the works http://sport.independent.co.uk/football/premiership/article2717239.ece Here's the express article from today http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/13863/Oba-desperate-to-be-part-of-Toon-revolution
Noodleman Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Plenty of papers reported Rodrigo Palacio was on a plane to undergo a medical for Arsenal on Monday.
Ramar Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Heres a few snaps of the Olympic Stadium (in Berlin) to share, one has no football relevance, but a sporting one.
Ant-Shimmin Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 apparently this voronin dude is a class act for liverpool, thats 2 games hes prefoemed top class in and outshined torres. Torres played 30-25 Minutes yesterday that has all he has played in the red of Liverpool so far. Voronin played 2 games so far for Liverpool, Not full games might I add, in those two games he has performed very well, shown strength and good finishing. To compare them both AT THIS stage is crazy considering Torres's season finished only a few weeks ago AND he has an ankle injury. What he did show though was glimpses of class, but it's in the league where it counts not friendlies in Switzerland. I agree in one sense Voronin looks a pretty good player, I am deffinatly looking forward to seeing him play. People say he has been brought in to replace Fowler, to be honest I don't think thats the case at all, he looks much fitter, much more clinical then Robbie. However it isn't one rule for him and one for another but the pressure isn't on him it's on Torres and I believe he can and will perform
darkcloud Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Obafemi Martins has turned down a £13m move to Arsenal to stay at Newcastle More like Arsenal were never bidding in the first place and the news papers made a bogus story to make the old bogus story look legit. :-/
BlueStar Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 More like Arsenal were never bidding in the first place and the news papers made a bogus story to make the old bogus story look legit. :-/ Well last time we played Arsenal a Wenger was going bananas over Martins in the match day programme and about how much he rates him. He's also expressed his admiration for Oba in press conferences. Martins has a £13m buy out clause and Arsenal have just sold Henry - Why wouldn't he make an approach? To be honest, I'd consider selling him for £13m, but if he wants to stay and improve that's a good sign.
Ramar Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Martins has a £13m buy out clause and Arsenal have just sold Henry - Why wouldn't he make an approach?. Because we've signed Eduardo, and have Van Persie and Adebayor for our main strikers. Then we've also got Bendtner who I'm pretty excited about, I really hope he breaks into the first team.
Fields Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 To be honest, I'd consider selling him for £13m I'd bite their fucking hand off mate.
BlueStar Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 He's got natural ability but he's lacking in the brain department. Doesn't seem to know when to make runs, which for a quick midget is a bit of a problem. Hopefully we can see some more of this from him next season http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lukoCA30CXk
